That is quite a detailed log you keep. Thanks for sharing your numbers with us.
As I said before, I would pay a fee (no discount) to have the convenience of using the commercial diesel lanes, but receiving a discount applied as well is a nice perk that I am grateful for.
That is some decent discounts. We are heading out in a couple of weeks from Maryland to Arizona and then through Colorado and back. Most certainly I won't be able to use the card everywhere so will probably alternate with the pilot/flying J card.
I think I will attempt to keep it all and see what the savings are.
Since returning home yesterday, we have started to prepare for a 5,000 - 7,500 mile trip cross country like we tend to do every couple/few years. We were supposed to go last year, but COVID has been difficult on travelers.
I will be changing the oil and filling up at either TA or Love's in the next couple of days. I should only need 10ish gallons, so I may just go to Love's and use the TSD card as it is 15 miles away, not 30 like the TA.
I am glad this program is out there for people like us and thousands of others to take advantage of.
We just returned from a trip from VA to South Tx and NM and did about 5000 miles over the course of a month or so. We used the app when we had about 150 miles of range left to help us find the best price in the next 100 miles or so. It was very convenient.
BTW we drove right past the TSD headquarters in Texarkana, TX...surprised me as I wasn’t expecting to see it right next to the highway.

I took the lazy route the other day and filled up in our small town 15 miles away. I only needed 10 gallons though, so not a big deal. I dropped off used oil for recycling as well, so it was a worthwhile trip for me.
We are traveling the country right now and as we were leaving our overnight stop on Knoxville, I decided to stop at a "Weigel" fuel stop since it was right next to the campground and had commercial truck lanes.
The TSD card was accepted and I was pleased.
Filled 26.470 gallons and saved $7.35 off the advertised price.
That was good enough to get us 2 chicken sandwiches from Popeye's!
Tallying up the fuel costs for the truck during the 45 day and 5,393 mile trip from GA to ID, MN and then back to GA, the truck used 439.8 gallons of diesel towing the 5th wheel the entire time. The 5th wheel was hooked to the truck anytime the truck was moving with the exception of a short 5 mile trip to a fuel station in Challis, ID before we left there to head north and then east.
I saved a total of $108.80 on diesel fuel using the TSD Fuel Logistics card.
The MPG with the 5th wheel attached for 5,393 miles at 439.8 gallons used comes up to 12.3 MPG.
I drive a 2000 F-250 with a 7.3L diesel running OEM 261,000 mile injectors and a T4 363 SXE turbo.
Our route we took is below so people can see the terrain we crossed.
That's a heck of a trip! We might have passed each other on the MT leg.
Perhaps so... I was constantly looking for anyone's rig/setup that I may have recognized, but didn't see any. I missed the GTG at the reservoir in MT by just a day or two. We were in Orofino ID a couple of days late which put us missing the GTG.
So is life and 1st world problems are great problems to have!
Travel safe sir, and if you ever see this setup below, stop by and say hello! We always have cold beverages and hot food!
For anyone traveling using TSD I've also found an app called Mudflap from a few hotshot guys that use both. I've been comparing prices and Mudflap sometimes beats out any other discounts. Also they give you $10 for referrals using code PEAE5D if you're interested.

I downloaded the app this morning and in going over things it said something about going inside to present a code they will send you. Is this correct or did I misunderstand it?

So how it works is you link a card to the App. When you arrive at the station you simply open the app select find fuel. Click the station you're at then hit next. The popup will open, click Get a Fuel Code.
Then you show the attendant or clerk the code and what pump you're on. They will enter the code which gets the discounted Mudflap Price. After the sale Mudflap charges your card.
You do NOT produce a credit card at the fuel station charges Mudflap, then in turn Mudflap charges your card you have on file. Also the card on file is entered through the app, so your info is secured electronically never sharing card info with a person.
. That's the way I understand it all. Hope that helps.
