So, from some brief browsing...it looks like this card is only good at the big truck stops( TA/ Petro, Loves, Flying J) ? the reason I ask is because these places have an inflated price over regular stations.
I'm an OTR long haul Owner Op, I understand how it all works. Never hurts to have more fuel cards to always get the best pricing though.
I currently have a Feet One card that gets me heavy discounts at the smaller truck stops. I have a buddy that uses another card that get's him heavy discounts at the big truck stops being the same discounted prices I get at the smaller truck stops. Just wondering if this gets as good of discounts.
I'll have to see what he uses again. I will eventually have an OTR card as well. I saw Sous post a link to this, so thought I'd take a look. Obviously the bigger the fleet or the more fleets on the main account, the higher the discounts. That's why the big commercial fleets get killer savings at the big truck stops. Just not sure where this one fits in, but may still be worth looking into
The local truck stop is $.03 more expensive than the Loves across the street, both take the TSD card.. There is always a line at Loves, I gladly pay $.03 more to not wait in line for 20-30 mins.
works best at loves, TA and petro. There is cicle K and speedways too (some) but I generally ignore them as they dont have truck lanes and even then they dont have the access at the pump.
Once you go inside you generally get the deer in the headlights look. so I just avoid.

Not true, I use the TSD / Mudflap / Gas Buddy and 90% of the time T/A has the best prices the other 10% is MudFlap. It's similar to TSD you send in where you are, they send a code and you punch that code into the pump. Fill and drive away, tied to you bank just like TSD amounts show in App just like the TSD. Here's just one file $25 savings best price of all three.
Wow! I'm really late to the party on this one! Especially seeing how I've had my diesel pickup for 21 years now! Does everyone still like their discount cards?
-Sous, I'd be happy to get you the $25 credit if they still do that while I'm signing up. Do you have the latest link?
Use mine at Kwik Trips, which also has a Fleet Card and get some really good deals including free food. The one thing I have noticed is at times the price they show is less than the actual price paid per gallon. I find that the actual PPG is about .05 more than listed after adding in the fee and 10% to the big guy. My last fill though was closer to .10 a gallon. I still saved about $20, but when it says 2.89 and it costs $3.04, well, thats just not right.
The card will work at any commercial diesel pump, other than Flying J/Pilot. I have used it at small fuel stations that I cannot recall the name of now. The consumer (gasoline), automotive and diesel pumps at stations will not work.
Sometimes the big truck stops have inflated prices, but in my experience there is still savings. I filled up 43 gallons the other day and saved $20 off the advertised price at Love's. The Love's advertised price was mere pennies different than other stations in the area.
I filled up and pulled forward before my wife was done in the gasoline lanes with our Ford Escape.
Since I started using the card, i have never had to wait longer than 15 mins to get a spot at a pump. Usually, I am done filling before my wife is in the gasoline lanes.
No annual fees or anything hidden and the best part is you don't have to use it if you don't want to. Continue on as you have been and those that do enjoy the ease of use and the savings can continue on as well.

The TSD card will work at Flying J/Pilot, but there is no discount and $1.00 fee for using an out of network station.
I still use my TSD card at Flying J/Pilot if there is nothing else around. It is just too convenient to use the card at the pump instead of making 2 trips inside.

Good to know! I was not aware of that and thank you. The other day I went by a Pilot looking for a Love's.
INFRNL, your card is likely an EFS card as well. The problem is people like most of us are not eligible for an EFS card because we don't have a business or fleet. This company (TSD) has been nice enough to open their EFS account to people like me. Yes, they get a small percentage each time I use the card, but I am still saving hundreds of dollars each year.
TSD has more bargaining power with people like me under their belt and I think once Good Sam goes under, Pilot/Flying J will be back in the savings category.

That is very kind of you sir, but totally unnecessary. I only started this thread to educate myself and others when this opportunity first was brought to light.
I have been more than impressed and grateful for this card being available to people like me, you and many others.
On our (many) trips per year from Texas to Colorado I know of very few truck stops (other than Toot Totem) that aren't either Loves, Pilot or Flying J,or TA. Well occasionally some small gas station has diesel pumps to the side but I won't buy fuel their anyway. I figure the chances of getting bad fuel from a high volume dealer is way less and if I do get some the chance of getting reimbursed is way higher.
The Loves, etc are usually clean and have one or two food choices. Food's not cheap by any means but it's faster to stop, fill up, pee and eat in one stop vs several
