no way a Platinum is cheaper than a fully loaded lariat - I have been building mine in "dream mode" for a while - all options on platinum vs all options on Lariat - Platinum always comes out to $4144 more. All done on the nadaguides build.
Playing around with build n price I’ve had KR’s more expensive than Platinums and Lariats similar to Platinums.
I have a thing for Lariats though so there’s that...
Near, never over - impossible (if you compare fairly)
Base Platinum with zero options selected (why you would do that, no idea) - 80,373 invoice.
Lariat loaded - all options (minus selecting a 5th wheel hitch itself and PTO) - 80,252 invoice
Yes, you can come close by by ordering stuff you probably don't need just to get the price close - but you again making a apple/orange comparison. Select the same options you want on a Lariat/KR/Plat and higher trims are always more..period.
There's a dealer here in northern utah that still has a "new" 2017 on the lot and they're only discounting it $10K off msrp. They went an added some accessories and what not but I would have expected them to drop it more than that. Then again maybe they would if someone went in and started wheeling and dealing. Thing has 5K miles on it now.
Notice at 10:17 the XLT has the 8” information gauge display from the lariat and up trims??? That was only available on the XLT for a few months at the beginning of the 2017MY. I can’t order a 2020 until I know exactly what I’m going to be getting/not getting. I’m so confused.
^^^^^ When are the rest of the specs being released. Not that it probably matters too much for me, but I would like to see the 7.3 5th/goose specs on the crew cab 4x4 before I order my 6.7 350 or 450

The 7.3 with 4.30 gears has fairly impressive tow #s. May use some fuel with those gears though. I assume that is why Ford defaults the 7.3 to 3.55 gears.
This shows the frequently FTE debated height adjustment that the F250 is 'slightly' taller than the F350. (Just like the 2017-19s.)

Based on those specs the 250 lost an inch for 20 and 350 did indeed stay the same.

Maybe I missed it (I'm on my phone), but why does that link show conventional towing specs only with 3.31 and 3.55 gears, but 5th wheel/goose neck it shows 3.73 and 4.3?
