No allen screw in my round bulbs for adjustment. The body and socket have a ratcheting like setup, it's maybe an upgrade Beamtech made? I recall reading someone commented that their allen screw rusted out after a year. This is all plastic.
I didn't realize the bulbs would have a 2 part assembly. I did choose the round style hoping it would be the bulb that did not cause radio interference and high/low beam delay. (which it doesn't) With all the posts, I would have thought someone would have identified this already.
It appears to me that the oval shaped bulbs result in those problems, but I am not positive. I got Beamtech H13 bulbs, round base, fanless, installed in a 2019 F350 XLT.
This is the bulb I bought, J1-H13. The oval shaped base bulbs are S1-H13. If you go to Beamtech's web site you can see the different listings. CAUTION, there is now a round shaped base bulb that I see on Amazon that DOES have a fan. I do not yet see it on the Beamtech web site.
UPDATED INFORMATION FROM THIS MORNING'S POSTS
I have rotated my led bodies 90 degrees. The best I could do so far was shine the lights on my garage door to see the improvement. I can't road test until it's dark. I DO NOT recommend buying the J1 H13 bulbs for a Super Duty vehicle. I will make another post with pictures. If I try now it deletes my text. I DO recommend removing the front grill to work on the lights. Yesterday I installed them by reaching behind the lights, that was a royal pain in the ***, and my finger tips still ache. Today I removed the grill. It was an easy removal and made the job MUCH easier. I do have the front camera and a washer line, they both unhooked at the grill once it was popped open.
To take pictures, I removed one light assembly, it will be the first picture. The second picture will show the led body separate from the screw in part. There are three tabs, 2 the same size, the screwdriver is pointing at the larger tab. SO, that part can only go into the headlight fixture one way. Inside the circle I drew 2 red arrows at two channels the led body slides into. The third picture I circled the two tabs, it may be hard to see, but one is larger than the other, so the light was designed to go in only one way. I had to make it go in the opposite way in order for my lights to work properly. The body goes into the circle that tightens to the light housing, and because there are two tabs, it only rotates 90 degrees. Installed the way Beamtech made the light, it was upside down. So I had to force it in the "wrong way" in order to make the body position up and down with the high and low elements aligned properly. For this reason I do not recommend the J1 style of H13 bulb. Go do Beamtech.com and you will see the difference J1 vs S1. That being said, I do not have any radio distortion, and they change back and forth from high to low beam just like the factory lights did.
Hopefully this helps someone else out before you buy these bulbs.
Earlier today I though one of my posts didn't make it to the thread. Then I saw that the same information pretty much was posted to 2 threads by the same poster and my post was on one of them. Useful, I'm sure to some but nonetheless confusing when you see basically the same posts with the same pics and same info on 2 separate threads. Maybe the mods could merge?
Even though snow might be an issue, i went ahead and got them. These things are great! Thanks for all the input on these. Pic was lows and fogs.
just curious what you mean by snow being an issue? I'm running the beamtech headlights/fogs in manitoba it's been-40c alot of days and tons of snow. With the snow on ground it makes these lights that much brighter. I love mine in the snow.

snow and ice buildup when driving in it. Not sure they generate enough heat to melt like the halogens do.

Ah yes fair enough in freezing rain or temps where its warm enough for snow to be wet this could definitely pose an issue I could see. Only had mine installed for a month and we have been deep in the freeze for some time now so haven't had a chance to experience that yet.

In the last 2 weeks we've had 3 feet of snow & wind/blizzard conditions, 60F/rain and then freezing rain. The prediction for the next couple of days is a winter storm warning with 14 to 18 inches and winds gusting to 40 MPH. Just another winter on the NY/Canada border.
This weather is sure making my annual Florida vacation seem to take longer to arrive!
