You think I’ll need a canbus / decoder for the 9005 fog lights too ?
I didn't. But then I never had a problem with the headlights either. I had Alla LED bulbs in the fogs at first. Then switched to Beamtech fogs. No issues as far as the radio is concerned. One of the Alla did burn out after a few months but they were quick to replace it with no problems.
Just installed my beamtech headlights (H13)and foglights (9005). So far so good. Doesn't seem to have any radio interference. I took it down the road and it's much better than the halogens and I didn't get flashed. Thanks to all the tips in this thread I was able to Install all 6 in less than 10 minutes. Very pleased so far!
I wonder how many beamtech headlights Poncho has sold from this thread, lol!
Just installed my beamtech headlights (H14)and foglights (9005).
Typo? I didn't find H14 as an option anywhere. Doesn't matter to me as I've had my H13 Beamtech for a year now. Just didn't want someone else to search for them and not be able to find them.

You are correct sir! My apologies! I went back and edited my post. Thanks for the catch!
I Made a 100 mile loop last night with H13 & 9005 BeamTech Fanless LED Bulbs in Heavy Fog.
I’m truly impressed & very satisfied except for the Radio Static.
BeamTech MAY be sending a fix ..... idk
i got flashed several times : from my 2” leveling Kit I’m sure.
I’m going to adjust them down a little bit because my high beams are way too high shining in the trees.
Just finished swapping out headlight bulbs with the beamtech LED bulbs, fogs look horrible compared to the LEDs but they were out of the fogs atm so that will be another day. Also added some front and rear aux lighting tied to the upfitter switches.
Has anyone experienced any problems with heat from the fanless LED? I’ve read they can get up to 170° to 200° on the heat sink. The front of the bulb inside the housing seem to be fine and run cooler than the halogens.

this is a good question. I will check mine tomorrow morning after my drive to work and i will report back.
Guys I was hoping someone in here could help me identify what I just saw the other day. Superduty was running the purest white HID I have ever seen. If these were LED I will be surprised. The output was unmatched. In the stock headlamp housing (reflector) and not a trace of a blue or yellow aura. It literally felt like I was viewing them in black and white.
I personally run a 5000k bulb and though technically pure white, as with other HIDs you do notice slight color tones from different angles.
Only seen these once and didn’t get a chance to catch up with the truck to ask.
What LEDs are you all using for reverse, lic plate, center high mount spot light? I bought the JDM Astar 3157 for reverse. The connector part was too short and wouldn’t make contact with the electrical connectors. So the led wouldn't even illuminate.
Here’s what I purchased.
