You’ve also got to remember that these trucks have 4 Bulbs burning on low beam & 6 on Fog Lamp equipped trucks.
We are not use to seeing 4 Headlamps on Low Beam.
I got flashed a lot with stock bulbs & before 2” Leveling Kit.
This.
I got flashed on OEM bulbs regularly after 2.5" leveling and beam nearly 2" above centerline. Now I am about at centerline with Beamtechs and no flashing yet. On the fence about lowering another 1/2 turn or 3/4".
Turn the headlight adjusters "down", or clockwise 1/2 - 1 full turn with an appropriate sized flat-blade screwdriver. This should amount to an approximate 3/4" - 1.5" drop at 25'.
When I carry weight in the box, I get flashed. How would I adjust the headlights down when I do this?
Bruce
Adjustment screws down in the hole pictured. Plastic phillips head. The procedure is in the owner's manual. Tells you where to mark a wall, garage door, etc. and how far back from it to be when making the adjustment.
I have the stock halogen bulbs and I get flashed... because this is New Jersey and theres so many JOs you wouldnt believe. They flash because they see the 4 lights... not because youir blinding them...Im leaving the halogens because I feel like they are ok. But Im putting the PIAA yellow fogs on like I had on my GMC. They are bright as hell and work well in crappy conditions.

Been considering yellow fogs for a while. Just ordered a set of Fanteli 9005 yellow/8000 LM. We'll see how that goes. I see that PIAA bulbs that should fit the factory fogs in these trucks were also available there.
I had the PIAA 5291 fogs. They were very bright down the road and lit well to the sides. I had them mounted on top of an aftermarket bumper. Maybe a little too high for the best fog light function. In heavy snow there was enough reflection that I would turn them off. But great in the rain. And in the dry they lit far down the road. They were maybe 8 years old when I sold the truck and they were still in perfect condition. I replaced 3 or 4 bulbs in that time. If I remember the bulbs were about $15. If those bulbs will work in my Ford fogs I would try them there. The Ford lights are just for show.
I think the PIAAs are $200 well spent. I just havnt figured out how to mount them without drilling my chrome bumper.
Poncho450- thanks for starting this thread. I put Beamtechs in my 2017 250 last weekend, and have been very happy with being able to see better. It would be interesting to know how many people and put them in since this thread started.

I installed Beamtech Fanless. Added the matching Beamtech Fog lamps after picture was taken. Couldn't be happier. Only problem is my drivers lens gets moisture in it, haven't got around figuring out why.
