Got these BEAMTECH lights for $36.99 a pair from Amazon. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1
Someone with a 2017 F250 gave them a good review so I thought I'd give them a shot for the money.
Installed this afternoon. Took a short 2 mile drive after dark. So far impressed. Nice white light. High & low beams both point where I think they should. Considerably better than factory and the Sylvania LXE that I got a bargain on and tried.
Time and some longer rides will tell if this was a good deal or not. Will keep an eye out for flicker, lens fogging and longevity and that will tell the tale.
It’s been a year now. Are you still happy with these?
I just ordered the h13’s for my headlights and the 9005’s for fogs.
Im curious about the long term reviews as well. Headlight revolution is always out of stock and im over waiting for them. My xlt has the halogens and they are absolutely terrible after running HID and LED on my last 3 vehicles. Once you go white you can never go back i guess. You guys with the beamtechs have to run anti flickers on the headlights as well as the fogs? Ive had to use canbus harness on every truck ive swapped headlights on. Never understood the whole “some trucks need them, some trucks dont” thing. The appealing thing with HR is that the anti flicker is built in but i guess that comes at a premium.

No anti-flicker required for either the headlights or fogs. I’ve been running them for a year with no issues.
I have been running these for over a year now. No flickering or any issues whatsoever. I have driven in weather ranging from 100+ degrees down to -20 degrees, sometimes pulling my 10k travel trailer. I was worried that the heat would mess them up. All I did was plug and play and I have not had one problem at all. They are well worth the money!
Installed the Beamtechs in the headlights and fogs tonite. All good and quite the difference! Ended up taking the grill off as I could not get a good grip on the bulbs with it still on.
I installed Four H13 & Two 9005 BeamTech LED Bulbs yesterday.
All clocked at 3&9 o clock. Removed air filter duct & washer fluid tube.
I wouldn’t dare remove my Grille lol
Super Bright “White Light” that I was seeking to match the mirror lamps, rear cab lights, bed lights & tailgate lamp
Hi Beams shine a little too hi above the road. Probably from my 2” Leveling Kit ?
I have STATIC On Weaker FM Radio Stations
There’s ALWAYS a sideaffect with ANY AfterMarket Components.
That’s why I’m keeping Stock Turn Signal Bulbs.

Basically the same result here. And the way I set my DRL up, the bottom headlights and the fog lights are on if the truck is on. No problems to date.

I don't claim to understand it either, but it does appear to be a fact from reading through dozens of posts on all of these LED headlight threads. Fortunately I was one of the Beamtech buyers who never had the problem. But if you do, they send you the fix for free, so there's really no premium.

Did mine last nite..took my time. Tried to do it without removing the grill but could not for the life of me get the bulbs to turn out. Took the front end apart and swapped all six, put it back together and was very happy with the results. Played with the aim a bit and then out for a drive. Figures, first two cars i passed were Police and did not get flashed by them or anyone else. The high beams do seem high and did not light up the road as I hoped. Will play with it when i get back from my next trip...

I've never attempted an adjustment in the year I've had Beamtech. But I think you'll be disappointed if you're looking for the same intensity that the low beams have out of the high beams.
In the previous edition of F250 I tried a complete headlight housing swap with some sort of HID light and absolutely hated it. The high beams were bright enough, but there was a huge black gap with zero coverage between the front of the truck and where the light pattern began. Probably the worst $400 I ever spent on an improvement. After months of trying to peddle them on Craigslist I let them go for $50 just to get them and their big boxes out of my garage.
In my experience with these bulbs the high beams throw light farther down the road and in a wider pattern, but not in the same intensity as the lows due to the light being scattered over a much larger area. That may be due to having an LED bulb in a housing/reflector designed for halogen. I can't say for sure, I'm no automotive lighting engineer.
But I find that these lights on low beam are plenty most of the time and I don't need to use the highs that much.
If you do find an adjustment that works better for you, post back and maybe I'll also give it a shot.
The grille removal question is moot now, as you've already got it done. I've done it both ways and for me it was just as easy and much faster to remove the filler neck on the windshield washer tank on the driver side to access the lights. With a gas truck, I was able to get to the passenger side without removing anything.

If you have the static issue is it cured by running the canbus harnesses? Or is there another fix?
So fellas what in-line gadgets do I need to get rid of STATIC on Radio after my Fanless BeamTech LED install ?
My 2016 & 2019 Both has it
Some users here that have complained about the issue contacted Beamtech and gotten the cure (decoder/canbus) shipped to them for free. A quick visit to the product question section of Amazon seems to verify this.
