Decided to upgrade the headlights on my 2018 this weekend as I was tired of driving by braille at night. After some heavy research on various grade LEDs it came down to one expensive option (Putco F1's which are just as good as the top performing Diode Dynamic SL1s) and a budget option (Hikari Eye of Megatron). I decided on the Hikari set for several reasons but two factors that stuck out, 1) Solid long term reviews and 2) they come with a 2-yr warranty. Most of the other budget LED sets only had a one year (not even sure what Beamtech's warranty is as its not stated anywhere in their ad or on their website.....red flag for me). In any case with a 2 yr warranty and purchasing through Amazon (link here:
) I feel like I'm covered if these end up crapping out long term like a lot of these budget bulbs seem to do. Just a hint, if you put these in your Amazon 'wish list', within about 24 hrs the price will drop about $25/set.
In any case, these are a direct plug n' play and didn't require any additional can bus, resistors, etc. No flickering, error codes, radio interference and the DRL work fine. Solid quality through and through with Philips Lumileds, clockable housing in the fly, and electronic harness. As far as the brightness goes, easily 200+% better than stock halogens. For comparison, I had a 2015 F150 Lariat with factory LED headlights (which were slightly better than my wife's HID projectors on her Lexus) which gave a nice color and uniform beam. These have the same nice 6k color and brightness but the beam isn't quite as uniform (still really good though for a bulb) which I expected. I still plan to play around with clocking and aiming but cold bore, I'm VERY impressed! So much, I ordered the Hikari 6k fog lights to match and will update with another pic when they arrive. Anyway, hope this helps others in some way.

Moto, are you saying you were NOT impressed with the Beamtech? Was about to order some when I saw your post...
To be fair, I only installed them in the top lights. The bottom lights are disconnected. I am going to order the other set tonight and will install them and see how much I like the beam pattern then. I just felt that for some odd reason, the beam was abnormally high compared to the auxbeams. For reference, the lights are at 3 and 9 oclock. This is correct, right?

I remember a thread or post on if the bulbs are not oriented correctly they would be off, similar to what you are describing...maybe try turning them 180?
Is there a video showing a method to remove the headlights without pulling the grill? -20c here today and dont have a shop that my truck fits and just know if I try to pull grill out of the clips some are guaranteed to break.
Shouldn't have to remove the grill at all. I had all 6 replaced in 15 minutes with just removing air snorkel...
oh ok I havent braved the cold and had a look yet was just looking at a couple vids where plastic cover on top was removed and grill pulled to access them was hoping there was an easier method. Thanks.

He's got them at the 3 and 9 o'clock positions. He's all set.
And I don't think running top bulbs only as he originally did will give an accurate assessment.

As promised, here's a couple shots after adding the Hikari fog lights. In the pic it looks like the light color is slightly warmer than the LED headlights but in person they are identical to the naked eye which I'm very happy about. I re-aimed everything to get a continuous blanket of light and it really makes driving at night safe again. Very happy!

Sorry I have another question I have all four bulbs out but I can't disconnect them from the harnesses does the tab have to be lifted up or push down I can't seem to get it either way and I don't want to break the tabs?!

Push the connector toward the bulb, then press the tab and pull.
