An easy way to cover that grill would be to drape a piece of outdoor vinyl(6' wide)over it and put a couple of bricks on the shelf to hold it in place. On the backside you could tie it or another couple of bricks if the vinyl is long enough. That drum will last many years if kept covered.
I was thinking of something like that, just wasnt sure if I wanted to go that route or not. Also didn't know if there was a nice "universal" cover out there.
I've got a slime drum that I've considered welding to the side and making a smoker box on the side of the grill but haven't made that jump yet.
Good morning everybody
I think today I'll actually clean the inside of the truck. No sense in doing anything to the outside with all of the rain that is headed here for tomorrow, and next week.
I snagged me a sweet Beef Brisket yesterday that will go in the smoker probably Saturday
Y'all behave
Bob,
When you get done, you can give my truck a good once going through. *somehow* I ended up with grease on the head liner and the drivers seat...
Tony, you are right about all the food. I tried to taste a bit of everything, if I could have snagged the rest of that cake I sure would have! The chilli and beans too. We need to stay an extra day after the cookout, so we can work on the leftovers!
Well today I really did clean the inside of the truck
Now to get my Beef Brisket prepped for a day in the Smoker, tomorrow
Then to feed my neck, and then I think a little guitar time is in order.
