Good morning everybody!
I'm done BBQ'd chicken thighs for tonight.
But today is mowing and trimming the yard since we have chances of rain for Thursday and Friday. I'm wanting to hit a local salvage yard pretty soon and get some nice loud horns for Ka'Bluey.
I'm also watching the weather back home. They have a real, good chance of sever storms that could produce Tornadoes.
Hope y'all have a great day
This is George. He joined our family in 2000, when I picked him up from the animal shelter in Jackson County, where I went to college at. After spending two years with me hiking mountains and riding every where, we graduated college and moved back to Carthage. I started tech school while working and the family felt he would be better staying with Mum and the rest of the dogs. The others passed eventually and we all moved out. But not George. Over the years he's been with Mum through everything, spending as much time here at the house as he did with Mum. He came to stay for the last time this week. He passed peacefully this morning.
Sorry to hear about George.
That really sucks, our pets are family members, and we love them dearly. I dread the day my Rocky cross's the Rainbow Bridge.
Sorry to hear about George. I know how hard it is to lose a dog after that amount of time. Our 16 year old had to be put to sleep Christmas Eve 2014 after 16 years here at the house.
With the weekend almost here, who has what going on
I've been at the house everyday this week, and I'm past ready to do something
If it doesn't rain all day Saturday my new accelerator pump came in today and I'll hopefully get that in the carb. Then got dinner with the wife's grandparents Saturday afternoon.

Thank you all. Pets certainly add to our lives, and thankfully the good outweighs the troubled times. Even knowing it's going to happen doesn't help much the day of. But still. At least he isn't in pain any longer.
Nice warm morning, been out on the back deck with Rocky, finishing my last mug of coffee.
My Friday guitar day is most likely cancelled. My buddy John in Wake Forest was at his mothers Cardiologists yesterday, she's 90, I hope it's just a check up.
Off to the bank later this morning, pulling out some cash and buying our next two Light Controllers. This will double our channels, now we'll have 64 to program for our Christmas light show. It's a year round deal, and time to get back at it. I haven't finished the song I started on just before this last Christmas.
The rain was terrible this morning. Bucket in my work truck was dry, has about 5" of water in it now. Needless to say today is being spent pumping all that rain out of containment pads.
