Maybe you should just nurse it along the way it is, plenum leaks and all, until you get the new motor ready. If you seal the plenums the extra boost and HP might push your knock to the breaking point. Good luck!

Agreed. It's already hurt, I wouldn't push it any harder. And it's on its way out, so any time spent on it now is time wasted. At some point you have to stop throwing good money and time after bad and just cut it off!
I'd reseal it. The last thing you want is less air to fuel. No reason to soot it up worse than it already is. Besides...I love carnage so turn it up to 11!!!
I had nothing to do so I put the big ugly wheels on the Mule just for the hell of it and here's how she looks
I hate the wheels but I love the stance, I like the width of the tire and how if fits the wheel well real good. If only Alcoa's made something that wide with a 16-17" wheel with the design of the stockers. I believe the its a 12.5" wheel. I know there are wheel options that resemble the stock wheels , but they all have the exposed lug nuts and I hate those kind of wheels, I like the sleak look of the stockers with the hub caps.
The wheel you're looking for is the Weld Super Single. They made them in 16s and up to 14" wide. They have been discontinued, so they're hard to find, but they look incredible on an OBS.

I got to find some, thats exactly what I want. I just look at a pic of of them and dam they look good.
Damn right they do. You'll be fighting me for them if you find some. Lol. They usually go for around $2000 if you find an immaculate set of polished super singles.
Friday is the day I sent out the mill to get put together I finally had spare change in my pockets lol. I'll update soon. Still saving for valve springs and push rods.
