Thermostat....maybe get a 180* from Clay. It definitely helps us who tow heavy.

Same thermostat, motorcraft 195° I also thought the water pump had something to do with it but, guess not. The temp sensor on the water pump was replaced a few years back, and ot fluctuates sometimes, it used to do it before to, is there aanother temp sensor I need to replace?

Not counting trips to town to get things like 12 point 8mm sockets and 1/4" universal joint adapters it took me hours to pull my stock turbo the first time. I won't admit to exactly how many hours, just hours...and I still have to put it back in.

Thats why I went with the e99 super duty center cartridge and pedestal, first time I took the turbo out I said with the hell with this there should be a better way, now it takes 10 minutes or less to remove the turbo.

If you plan on keeping your stock turbo I highly suggest this mod,

How does it make it so much easier to remove the turbo? Your pictures look like if you're using the SD center cartridge and pedestal you can remove the turbo without unbolting the pedestal? Is that what saves all the headaches?

No need to remove pedestal or those stupid four bolts under the pedestal, just the top 2 bolts holding the center cartridge, and the turbo comes off

Man turbos are so expensive, I wish I could buy one but for now the stocker with an upgradded wheel will do maybe next years resolution Ill add it to the list

I think your thread on this should be a sticky. If I'd seen it before I did my EBPV delete it would've saved me some money and skinned knuckles. Now I have to get yet another pedestal! But then I may eventually end up going with another turbo so maybe I'll hold off on this upgrade for now.
