I think I'd recommend keeping that employee away from everything but the pencil sharpener lol. If anyone did that to my truck is prolly kick him in the nuts cause he really shouldn't have any offspring lol. Gotta do our part
Today I got my spx turbo wheel and by the looks of it looks promising its a 5 blade like our oem but the fins look incredibly aggressive. Enough with the chit chat heres some pics of an obs stock wheel, sd stock wheel and the spx
Ignore thr bent obs one, one of the employees thought it was funny to stick a pen while I had the truck running stupid ignorant ***** he got charged for a new wheel, plus my labor
Stick a pen in his neck. That's ignorant and dangerous.
Yeah got me pissed but he was an 18 year old that didn't know better, guess he thought it was like his bicycle wheels where he can put index cards to make noise

I'd be curious what experience others have had with the different manufactures on different turbos wheels. I have used the 4/5/6 blade combos from Riffraff, Diselsite, and I forget the other manufacturer at the moment(Turbonetics I think??) Used different wheels on different turbos s300/s400 series turbos, in small compounds on gassers, as well as our stock Garrets on the SD and OBS trucks. I have not really seen a drastic difference between any of them besides they are a good upgrade over the stock incanel wheels.
In all honesty I feel they flow better, especially on the midrange and bottom end, but have noticed they loose a bit on the top end in certain applications. In all aspects EGTs are lower though. Just thought I'd throw it out there and see what you guys have to say since SPX is a new one to my ears and was curious what others found out.
Spturboost.com were new to the game for me as well but, since my first rebuild with their kit was on my Mule and has worked perfect and countless rebuilds on the company trucks I have yet to see one fail, like I mention on several turbo threads contact Kevin owner of SP Turboost Co LLC he will answer alot of question regarding their kits and customer service cannot be beat.
I'm not discrediting their rebuild kit or wheel at all. I'm sure its a fine unit.
I use OE rebuild kits and aftermarket wheels or thrust bearing if OE does not offer a 360.
The point I'm getting at is it seems like there a ton of companies out there now selling 4/5/6/ billet turbine wheels. I'm curious if they even know if 4 is better or equal to 6 or 15 or whatever. Has anyone done any testing on these? I find it hard to believe that all the distributors of each type of wheel have the time or cash to do so their own R&D, and that brings up the question of who the manufacturer is? I bet there are only a handful that make these for everyone, or maybe even 1 or 2.
It would be cool to see a test comparing all, and if there really is a big change between the wheels. I'd do it myself if I had the free time. Run 3 or 4 wheels on the same turbo and log with AE under identical circumstances... sure would be cool to do it on different size turbos as well.

That is all
I myself would like some testing and data logging of all manufactures wheels to see which one is best for what. Im no turbo expert I just like rebuilding them and cleaning them
