not yet...worked all day both days this weekend but tonight I am planning on getting those holes drilled out to the right size and a few of the front hanger holes drilled so I can mount up my springs soon. Once I get the springs mounted I can sit the axle on the springs and then mount up the airbags to alight the upper brackets and drill those holes and then all that's left is to get and mount the gooseneck hitch, the Ex tank and the Airdog which requires no holes just don't want to pull the bed twice lol.
For the Ex tank since it is a gas tank and the pump is inside the airdog is set up for diesels obviously so I and uses the OEM pick up instead of a draw straw now so I should get a diesel pick up for the Ex tank correct?
Cool, I will have to see what I can do most junk yards around here don't have anything newer than the 97 f series trucks and I have never seen an excursion yet
I ordered my new shock mounts today and new rear shackles, I may order the gooseneck hitch as well since I need it before I mount the upper air bag brackets. It's all finally coming together hopefully by the end of the month the frame will be painted and assembled and I will be starting on the bed which shouldn't take long because half my crap for the frame is sitting on top of it lol.
I also need to do the cab mounts while I have free access to them.
Welp I just ordered my Drop N Lock gooseneck hitch today I should have it this week by the end of the week. My goal is to get the hangers hung this week and the airbags marked once the hitch comes I will drill both the airbag and hitch holes temp mount them and they hang the Ex tank skid plate and I will be done!
While I am prepping and painting the rear part of the frame I am going to try and find an excursion diesel tank pick up and maybe order some PMF traction bars so I can paint the axle and then remount her. and then move to the Bed and finish this whole project up...well this part of it anyway lol.
Now that I think about it. I have the aft tank from my flatbed I wonder if it is the right pickup for you. It was a 2000 7.3l F350 cab and chassis. If you research and find that it works for you we can make a deal.
I officially feel your pain... plus I get to cut and weld in a plate on my free Bronco... I just thought you'd like to see someone else struggle once in a while....
