That package is such a good deal, not sure where I would use the 50" though I already plan on having 4x 4" lights and a 30" bar on the 250 and a 40 and 2x 6"light on the expy lol.

Also guys I am going to have the Ex skid plate and all my other Skid plates Linexed I think, they are not rusty and it will seal them I would rather do that than use a boat load of valuable POR on them and water will pool there most likely so It will work best IMO.
Idea!!!!

Why not do a 50" backup led bar on the F250. Just mount it under the rear bumper

On another note, I can't imagine Linex is cheaper than POR.... is it really?

No i dont think it is i am just thinking for water pooling in those area's Linex would be better correct? I figured Rubber vs paint the rubber would be better to seal out water even though POR is sealed technically as well and I could use the POR on the chassis and cab vs a tone of it on the Ex plate, it was just a thought though so feed back is appreciated

That would be awesome however i think i would make people go blind when i try to go in reverse lol. Honestly not a huge fan of the 50" roof bars on SD's i like the bumper mounted ones better but that's just me that's why i was thinking a 50" roof bar on the F150 and the two cubes could be the Back u plights for the Expy and the 20" bar could be another Bar for the Expy and i would not do a roof bar on it since i will have 3 in total on it lol. I think with the 4x 7" HID lights and a 50" LED bar on the F150 it will look pretty slick and i am going to install my old rear leafs maybe this weekend or next and then get the front lift done once i figure out how much the rear lifts on it with my SD springs. Going to do a black monstaliner Two tone as well on it. mayber even repaint the Bed and Cab in red Platidip for now to hide all the imperfections in the paint for a nice matte red/black color.

Also a side note i called and have ordered the Excursion Diesel Sending unit should be here wednesday

UPDATE:

I installed the new carli Shock towers and man these things are beefy! Only thing is i need to trim one side maybe 1/2" because the design they put in it contacts the frame but no big deal i will take my grinder to it and then just paint the exposed side.

Here id a comparison shot mounted to the frame near side is carli and far side is OEM.

Also i got my OEM passenger front hanger removed so i had more room to drill the holes for the new 08 spring hanger. I mounted both the shacke and hanger as well as the springs and axle so that i could see when the axle was supporting weight were it would sit. I then mounted the lower airbag mount and i used the tallest spacers and i still need 10" until the upper bracket sits on the frame lol. I am going to 3D print some nice beefy spacers for this kit 2 5" ones that will bolt together. The material in my printer is pretty strong. FYI the U-Bolts are upside down just to hole the axle in line for now since i am pulling it again there was no sense in actually bolting it up. Also does anyone know where i can get longer ubolts for the airlift kit? they are not long enough for my 08 springs.

Yup, did it to keep the axle under the spring didn't need to tighten them down since i am pulling it again.

You guys have any idea where i can find some longer ubolts for my airlift air bag lower mounts?

Look for an auto spring shop. Those places can usually make u-bolts to your specs.

Lol they were not that rusty when I first started working on the truck but basically where the lighter rust was was bare metal they are pretty bad. Needless to say I am pulling the axle to rebuild it and paint it and make it all brandy new again. And people keep wondering why I keep diving deeper and deeper into the truck lol.

Wow that is pretty bad. My 88 has been sitting 6 years (only a month in between their was it running) and they aren't that bad. Of course mine has the wheels on it though.

Just add a liberal amount of grease to the rotors, you'll be fine.

Last truck we had with rotors like that we used steel wool to clean it up but that was also a budget truck and about 6 months later I ended up replacing the rotors. This was on my explorer.

Ok guys here is today's update with lots of pictures lol.

So today my Drop N Lock gooseneck hitch arrived and i got it as well as the passenger airbag mounted. It was a lot of drilling and heave parts so it took me a little while lol.

I first mounted the passenger and drivers side bracekts by using the slotted hole for the 3/4" bolt and drilled out the 6 1/2" bolts.

I then rested the gooseneck receive plate on the brackets and bolted it down here are a coupe pics of it.

This is a great addon in my opinion because not only do i gain the ability to tow a gooseneck but it also adds frame stability and it is the best choice for having over spring air bags as you can see here.

Mounted airbag bracket and hitch:

To make sure the airbag upper bracket was in the right spot i found a piece of wood that was 8.5" tall and used it to balance the airbag and upper bracket on while i marked the holes to be drilled out. I currently have the wood piece still sitting therefor mounting purposes.

Also surprise progress! lol i got the ex tank partially mounted. i need to make some cuts to make it mount properly.

Down side to the Ex tank and shackle flip with 3" lift spring is my exhaust will have to hang super low in order to clear the spring or super high to go over the springs both of which i am not a fan of lol so i may just go with some stacks.
