Sorry I have not been updating guys I've been so busy, I removed the old passenger side hanger rivets yesterday. I will be working on the truck every night this week though so expect several updates! Aiming to have the passenger side completed by Saturday night before I pick up the fiancé from the airport...nance why I have all week to make progress lol.
Also might be looking into buying an 09 Challenger SRT8 this summer we have a family friend that wants to get a corvette and is going to sell his challenger for cheap that has never seen winter and he installed a super charger! Don't worry though I love those the way they are I won't mod it much so the f250 will remain getting all the mods lol.
Gentlemen...ordered more parts today lol I decided to go to all Poly Bushings before i install my new springs and shackles. I figured with the added weight in the fron tand the horror stories about lift spring rubber bushings wearing out in 30k mile so figured for the price why not do it now. Also i got my body mounts in from energy suspension and they seem very well made i can't wait to get them installed!
I am also ordering a complete Stainless brake line kit for a hydroboost set up I have heard great things about these kits and figures with hydroboost the stronger stainless and rust resistance is worth it.
Also i took Shelby's (my fiance) car to get her cracked front rim replaced today to have the tire place tell me her brakes are almost toast she has barley any pad left.....don't listen to women if they tell you thier car is ok lol. So needless to say i got her new brakes this morning before work and will be putting htem in this weekend along with new struts.
The joys of vehicle ownership. I took Nicole's car in because the front left was leaking air... about 10 psi a day. Pin hole leak in the steel rim.... now I have to add rims to the "to get" list.....
Just this one of the removed rivets lol. Tonight i will be starting back up on the truck though so expect some progress pics tonight or tomorrow morning!
Does anyone know how to remove the e brake cables from the union block on the frame? Can't figure out for the life of me lol and I need to remove them to install the last hanger... Moving very fast frame should be done this weekend! Just paint after its done.
set the E barke cable (which will extend it), then clamp a vice grip or something similar to the cable itself. Then just release the parking brake cable, should have enough room to wiggle the cables out of the bracket at that point.
Thanks man, I managed to use my massive muscles instead to pull the rear two cables forward and release the union lol. My vise grip is broken and dos not hold tight, now that that's done what about this?
Pic:
Wasn't sure if they are clipped in or screwed in didnt wanna just yank them.
Also i got my F650 overhead console this week!
As you can see it has 3 gauges and 4 switch slots that are all filled with blanks if you dont want to use them all. I placed the winch , airbag and glowshift gauges in it an unfortunately they are all slightly too small for the holes so i will need to get a little creative to get them securely mounted but it shouldn't be too hard to do.
How do you normally mount gauges i thought they slid in and were just a press fit is there any truth to that lol?
I wanna see what that console looks like in the truck!
The Autogauge gauges I put in my Ranger had a bracket on them that clamped them in. Do the glowshifts have anything like that? If not, could you get a hose clamp around the gauge body just to stop it from pulling out?
They have two threaded studs on the back so i could easily make something but they come with a bracket for that that is used to mount them to a dashboard i can get creative with a hose clamp or similar though lol.
That's what mine have. It is just a plate with a 90 degree bend at either end that is just wider than the gauge opening. The "fingers" touch the back side of the plastic and you just snug the nuts down to hold the gauge in place.
There may be a horse shoe shaped clip holding the cables in from that point, or just the pressure from the cable, should wiggle out of there after any clips are off though.

Good to know I'll check out the packaging more when i get home I'm trying to remember exactly what came with them lol.

Thanks man ill take a look when i get home from work today and see if i can get them out. Planning on leaving work at a normal time (early for me) today but as usual never really goes as planned lol.
Realized i never posted my pictures from over the weekend lol well here is my progress!
I got the Drivers side completely bolted up and drilled out except for the shot tower which i am going to drill new holes in instead of in the frame.
pics:
There were two tiny but very flexible C clips liek suspected that helds the Emergency brake cable sin so i removed them and then just hung the drivers side front hanger.
pics:
The hanger sits over the brake cable brackte that is welded to the fram and there is a hole cut out of the bracket to allow it to stick out slightly.
The sables will run out of these two holes I'm pointing to.
Lastly i took the front tires off to lower the truck and keep it level...i need more jack stands now that they are all being used to hold it up lol. I will probably get some this week I would rather have more than 4 anyway I'd like 2-4 more in the middle for support.
Also i sized up the rims and tires to the Expy for fun lol, the black doesn't look half bad but tires are way too big for it IMO.
So this weekend i will be finishing the drivers side shock tower, removing the rear flex brake line so i can completely slide the axle forward and then drill the two extra rear shackle holes, all the hanger holes, hang the spring and drill the airbag holes on the drivers side. I got new drill bits and they are cutting threw like butter now so it is going much faster.
Edit: anyone have any good idea's for removing undercoating and for removing the rubber bushings? i want to install my Poly ones.

Everything looks good!
I've never tried it on undercoating, but I have always had good luck with aircraft stripper. If not, a wire wheel should take most of it off.
For rubber bushings, I burn them out. take them out in the driveway or yard and lightem up and have a cold beer. If you have a press, that would work too.
