Just made a ton of noise lol, i think its because the hose was leaking badly though so i could not apply much force or else it would lose 90% of its air so i was holding the hose with one hand to help it not bleed as much.

Cut the hose at the leak and put a barb in it with 2 hose clamps on it.
Air hammer on metal loud y'all ain't heard loud yet. LOL Just messing with you. I probably couldn't handle something of that pitch and loudness either but a lower pitch and louder I would be fine.

And, if the end on the compressor is good, disconnect it, use that as the tool end so that you don't have the hose clamps in your way when you're working. In other words, put the repaired end at the compressor.
Wrap the hose clamp and barb in duct tape or electrical tape. That is what we did when I got a leak in our hose and we don't ever get hung up on it.
Kinda redneck but ours got cut right about in the middle so was the best fix. Works great still but our compressor is only a 1/4 or 1/2hp gas powered air compressor. We need to fix our 3/4hp one that we got for free.

I try not to fix things rednecky but if I have to I will till I can fix it right.
I recently ended up getting another hose for free with no leaks just have to get fittings for it. Little bigger, stronger hose but my compressor uses very weird fittings.
My username is redneck for a reason although I am not as bad as some of my buddies. One of my buddies is still driving his truck with his heater core hose duct taped. LOL it has been about 200 miles now.

He is doing it because he is to lazy to fit it. LOL
My other buddy used his tow truck (roll back) to haul a huge trailer filled with batteries. This was a fifth wheel before and he bolted the hitch to the bed.
Ya some of us have done some pretty weird things. I just recently got rid of our 84 Bronco II V6 that was thrush pack that I had bolts through each side of the muffler so it wouldn't come off. It worked for the trails and all my buddies actually thought I had a 302 under the hood till I popped the hood. LOL It was louder then our 2 previous Harleys but not louder then our current Harleys. HAHA

Thanks man. Problem is I hang out a bit to much on trails and now I can't really since the B2 was my trail truck and I can't bring my DD explorer on the trails without breaking things.
Trav
Can't I don't have it anymore. LOL I got rid of it for a parts truck for our 92 F250, a 93 town car, and 91 F150. The 92 F250 once done will take over but won't be probably as good as the B2 was on the trails being a regular cab long bed flat bed truck. Good thing though is it will have more power that B2 defiantly needed power as most of the hills I had to granny up while my buddies in their full size trucks did fine.

Got more done after work today I feel like I am making significant progress finally. I got the rivets out where the hanger is and also got the drivers side shock mount off and have the new hanger temp mounted. The x brace rivets are a pita though I should have everything off on the drivers side and temp mounted tomorrow!

Looks good. Are you painting the frame before permanently mounting the brackets?
