I'm loving how much space there is there's about 3 feet behind the truck and a foot in front with the door closed, way more space than before and no clutter! I should be getting the front end back apart this week/weekend depending on when i get my tools back to get the motor out now.

I honestly never thought id find a house with a garage capable of that.

The house is awesome, its so nice to finally have my own. There's been a bunch of little things but every house always has something. Fixed almost all of them except the leaking shower door but i found out about that yesterday lol. the rest is all cosmetic like the basement and whatnot.

This weekend is my garage weekend where I'm going to move everything into the basement finally and get all my tools and whatnot form my parents house. I'm going to take my old TV and computer i build and mount them to the wall so i can have music or youtube or this forum up while i work lol.

I did that in my last barn. It is very handy to be able to pull up the wiring diagrams when you are working on something out there.

So nice having a barn to work on projects, luckily I have wireless internet and can still get signal from the house pretty strong.

I too need to finish moving my tools and stuff from the house garage, that is going to be my weekend project also.

You'll be happy when it's all settled Monte, then you can get back to the truck.

Small update, I'm almost settled into the house finally. My wife and I need to paint the basement so we can move the office furniture form my parents house and garage into our basement but hopefully we will get that done by Wednesday this week. I got half my tools this weekend because the wife's Focus had her blower motor go so she had no A/C in this lovely weather lol. Once i move the stuff tonight out of the garage I will finally have room to get my motor and tranny as well as my hoist and tool chest from my parents garage so i can start working again.

I'll probably grab the tranny and tools one day this week with the F150. The motor may prove to be a challenge lol.

Can't you use the hoist to put the motor in the F150 bed?

I can but thinking through it i was afraid to lift that much weight on the 1/2 ton spot to lift it high enough but thinking about it now...my grandfather and dad lifted the whole front of the truck on the 1 ton slot with it and didn't have an issue. They always tell me not to do sketchy things and then they went ahead and did that so they could put both front tires on at the same time lol. I should be fine then i guess to get it in the F150.

In the spirit of not doing sketch things, I would hoist the engine and then back the truck under the lift instead of trying to move the lift with all the weight supported

That's a good idea lol The F150 actually fits in my parents garage so its possible and much easier. I think I'm going to get a 2 ton engine stand from harbor freight to set the cummins on at the new house so its easier to work on from now on... maybe I'll grab it tonight I am so anxious i want to get back to work so bad.

Gents this weekend is the weekend, I am determined to get that 5.4l out of the truck. I have a couple buddies coming over and we are going to get it out on Saturday afternoon. I am taking the charger to the body shop that painted my truck to have them look at it in the morning but all afternoon and evening we are going to work until we get it out.
