Lol you guys, I'm going to finish the body then build a supercharged big block to drop in it. It's nothing special right now but I got a good deal on a running driving muscle car lol. Forgot I didn't post pics give me a few.
That's the plan Garrick, sorry guys had a lot going on at work this week once i got into the office i basically got consumed and forgot about posting lol.
Charger: (i surprisingly have not pictures of the interior lol)
ALSO! pics of my weekend update on the truck i got her 90% ready to pull, i got the intake manifold removed and holy crap that took 3 hours it was ridiculous. I had some pipe going from my exhaust manifold to the throttle body that I've never seen before when looking at all the tech articles and pictures online.
Before:
After:
I also got the master cylinder removed and i went to install the hydroboost however the top (or bottom really) holes for the unit are 1/4" too far apart so they will not sit through unless i notch the holes some which will be easy however i am going to leave it off for the room for now.
Haha hopefully i should be as into it as you were in the next week or two, I was so annoyed at how close it was lol its like a hair off.
I'm going to pick up an engine hoist this weekend hopefully but once i do that i was going to drop the front drive shaft and start unbolting the tranny and engine mounts.
I'm reminding myself here to unplug my transfer face and transmission as well as the started because i know i will forget and break those wires lol. Anything else other that those items i listed i should be aware of or tips and tricks? I'm thinking about dropping the truck onto rims before i pull it to make it come out easier.
Thanks guys. I didn't make any progress over this weekend unfortunately, was caught up in more wedding planning. I wasn't able to get my buddies engine hoist so i am going to just buy one for myself because realistically i can always use one lol, any suggestions on brands for one?
My goals for this week are to get the chain hooked up to the motor to pull it from and to get the trans unhooked and front drive shaft unbolted as well as maybe even the motor mounts.
Definitely getting a read head steering box by the way was getting old and worn before i parked her.
Question for you guys, does anyone know if autoenginuity can turn off sensors? i am thinking about getting it an turning off things like the O2 sensors to reduce the amount of DTCs i get initially.
Also i apologize for not making progress I've been traveling for work but ill be home this weekend and can make more progress finally!
