Oven cleaner is the best to get stuff ready like that. be sure to wash it down good after and let it dry thoroughly.

Few quick pictures I'll take better ones later today but the beds in and it's up to my chin lol.

It's not lined up because the braces are not bolted down yet so I need to align it center mark the holes and then drill them out.

quick picture again, the front brace is about 1/2" too big but all the other ones are correct. I must have had a brain fart or something when ordering and got the 3.5" one when I needed the 3" one.

WTF lol the app always says they are uploaded and they appear on my phone. Also for some reason the picture i took of the bed after i coated it in monstaliner is gone...well it looked good lol

I am going to crank on the motor now so i can get it painted after turkey day either this Friday or over the weekend. I can always paint the small things at work like the valve covers etc but the motor i cant just carry into work and use the interns spray paint booth lol.

Here they are:

Great work as always! Hopefully you'll have an update on the F150 steering wheel and cruise controls before long .

I am praying that it is just the angle of the pics...but how in the hell do you plan on getting the truck out of the garage lol?!?!?

Yeah...need to figure that one out lol I am planning on getting some old crappy rims from the junk yard and just rolling it out on rims and onto plywood not to damage the pavement, if it is still too high i will compress the springs until the cab clears the door. Next on the list is the interior work because it need to be done for the motor so dont worry i will FINALLY start work on that.

General question for you guys, does the axle look extremely more forward than it should be to you? i can shift it back about an inch more and that's it. Also the rear end looks much taller than i anticipated, the top of the tire is almost inline with the bottom of the bed however the bed is 1/2" high but my old pictures show it right about inline with the rear on the sidewall so its about 2-3" taller than i expected. Thinking it may be the shackle flip causing this i may have done my math wrong?

stock = 0
-stock block = -2.5
pmf 2.5" shackle flip = 0
3" bds lift springs = 3
1" rear block = 4 total lift

The springs may also just need to settle a little bit. It will also have 350ish lbs of diesel hanging over the rear axle so she will probably squat down an inch or two there.

I know its been a while guys i apologize been traveling a lot for the end of the year, i painted the motor! I am going to start assembling it tomorrow when i get home.

I plan this weekend to have the injection pump rebuilt and painted as well as the valve covers. I should have this motor ready to go in in a week i would say! need to pull the 5.4l first which i plan on starting the process this weekend. I am going to pull the trans first then the motor.

Motor painting pics.
