A little help here please. I can't get the option for "enhanced powertrain"... I can only get the option for generic. I haven't used this in a while and was able to get this option in the past. Ideas please?
I've never tried. I know you have to select the ABS module when initiating connection, not the Enhanced Powertrain. There will be a new list of things on the menu to look at.

You should try it out, bleed your brakes, and then tell me what to do.
I didn't see anything that I don't already have with my version of AE. I haven't updated since I bought AE because my truck didn't get any newer, and all the problems with the PIDs on the newer versions spooked me off.
This sounds more like a bug than a "secret" feature.
Damn, It gets dark in this empty classroom........1st time post, long time lurker.. Just got AE up and running bout 3 days ago and been checking out all the shiney bells and whistles..... I've got a bone stock 2002 w/ about 175,000 on her. The only code that pulled up was a bad Trans case solinoid. A P1876. not bad for an old Girl, I think....anyway I want to get a baseline on it for all the important stuff before I start modding the crap outta it. What would be a good set of Parameters to start with? I've already run my EPBV and Map ( About 3 points high on EPV, so theres a replacement now) and I did a Dummy Run down the Rd. To get a look at RPM, ICR/ICP. Nothing startleing, but I want to get my settings dialed in b4 I cry foul about anything. What's a good package to set up?
Thanks
Here are the usual suspects, with limits for better graphing:
Change the max Exhaust Back Pressure to 55, then get rid of Mass Fuel Desired and use Torque Converter Slip with a max 1000 (assuming auto transmission).
Some versions of AE may show your Fuel Injector Pulse Width at less than 1.0 all the time. If that happens, set the scale value at 10, save it, then open it again and set the max to 5 ms.
If your MPH shows zero, set the scale value to 256, close it, then open it again and set the max to 100.
I hope you tested your EBP/MAP/BARO with Key On Engine Off, that's the only way to get an accurate reading for baseline.
Thanks, and in answer, Yes to all of the rest of your suggestions. I actually absorbed all 39 pages of class 1 and all 8 of Class 2, and been tweeking things for a couple of days now. Alot of the playing has been trying to figure out when NOT to push certain buttons.......But I know how to print now, Progress!
