i would think with that many miles you are on borrowed time anyway but nice to see the project unfold whatever you decide to do

The total I spent was $7035 to performance machine. $215 for the cac fix and intake hot bath. Prob 250 for the trans n trans case reseal. Bunch of tools. Not sure about my dealer trip for misc parts yet. I'm replacing my tranny mount also.

What I'm getting at, is my #1 inj has been acting up for a while,,,, cont bal code on cold startup, but has cleared when warm. I'm replacing it now. My #1,#7, and #8 inj has black plastic on the top. I know I've never got any inj other than ford, and I bought it while still under warranty. Could I have 3 injectors that have 582k???

You sure could, although I had an 03 that had 10 injectors put in it with less than 1000 miles.

Nah, it could b worse. Oh, got the inj warrantied. Of course I spent 700 there on other stuff. Lol. Done runnin round, Midwest radiator fixed my cac n cleaned my intake. I'm gonna pull the heads now n get Er ready for a rebuild. Doubt I'm gonna do it now, but I can explore inside and see if I wanna tackle it. Lots and lots of special tools huh.

Quick question,,, could this have been my squeaking? Some of the pushrods have lines on them and some have scrapes on them. Is this normal??

Ok, here's another post. I'm gonna do them in separate posts.

I'm wondering if the scratch marks and lines are normal.
