...I know. Our lake is still frozen, and the fishing season opener just days away. My general feeling is that freeze up in the fall may be occurring a bit later, but the spring thaw also seems to be coming later. John, when does the hook and line fishing season start in Northern Ontario? Do you think there will still be ice on the lakes for the opener?
That's impressive John with May is just around the corner! We just have the remains of a few snow piles here and there. The ice is thinning and dark, and will go out soon. One of these year's I need to get back to Woodland Caribou.
Took my truck out for a couple of errands. Ended up driving by the Missouri state capitol. It's only about 2 miles from my house.
This is actually the back of the capitol. The front faces the Missouri river which is a literal stones throw from the other side of the building.

Got one.....this was from a couple of years ago, before the truck was done. I had the 5th wheel parked in front of the house and pulled the truck out to clean the garage.
We hosted the cross country kids pasta dinner last night. My daughter, Sarah, was showing some of them my truck. So, we took it out for a quick drive.
I did a few laps around our block. Each lap added a couple of kids. I think I had 10 kids in the back and one riding shotgun. A couple of moms took pictures. I'm hoping to get those soon.
They will be riding on it in the homecoming parade on the 20th.
