Yep, I had some concerns as I was going down his drive. My wife wonders if everyone I meet on the internet is an axe murderer. Those thought popped up as I was way out in the country. He ended up being a pretty good guy though.
I had a similar experience recently getting some 8N tractor parts. Took a wrong turn down a private drive that looked a lot like that and suddenly had a bunch of 2 teeth guys looking at me like I was a revenuer. I backed up really fast.
Looking thru my photo "archives" and found this picture. First long distance trip (240 miles) in my 55' back in 2003. Nashville to Atlanta to a GEORGIA F100 low rider truck club charity car show at the now defunct Ford Taurus Plant on the South side of Atlanta. This is me and two friends from the now defunct Music City F100 club on I-75 Southbound between Chattanooga and Atlanta. Great memories. Gas stops were accomplished by speeding up to the front and motioning. The good ole days
Mark Coleman green extended cab 55' F100. Richard Vaughn Coral colored chop top suicide door 55'. Lastly me coming up the rear in my 55'. Southbound on I-75 between Chattanooga and Atlanta.
