I get more enjoyment in driving the trucks than parking them at a show. I have just as many coming to talk when I'm gassing up or in a parking lot at the grocery store etc.. If anyone wants to see under the hood I'll open it for them..
Wow! Beautiful, both the blue sky, surroundings and your truck.
It is a beautiful area....it is really green right now because we had a lot of rain there in November. A lot of filming goes on there., Westworld from 1973 was and
some of Jurassic park 1993, some Star trek episodes too.
Thank you, it does look good from 20 ft
This truck showed up on my road about 5 miles from me. I don't know the owner of the truck/company so I don't know if it runs, is complete, etc.
I took the pictures through my 2014 Ford windshield, so it counts. Sorta.
Wednesday I went to the Stoltzfus the Amish butcher shop outside of Lock Haven for fresh ground beef. Many of you that were at Truckstock have driven this scenic road. It was a beautiful day in a beautiful county.
Abe, that hood doesn’t look Meadow Green. LOL. Nice to see snow on the ground. It’s been cold here but not as much snow as some years. Trails are all open though since Christmas.
I drove out to the west side of Lancaster to check out the poppies, and they are everywhere. We had a lot of rain this winter so the desert is in full bloom right now. Miles and miles of wild flowers.
Of course, I knew it was filmed there. I was joking. Humor doesn't show real well with written text only.
.
Ha ha…no problem. I hadn’t watched the Wizard of Oz in probably 15 years or so, I didn’t remember what that scene looked like. I just watched it now and now I get the humor.
My wife and I went out for lunch. On our way to Williamsport I saw this good looking 56 come up from behind. We were on 220 between Jersey Shore and Williamsport. I let him catch up to me and pass me. My wife says "shall I take a picture?" Sure, I said. It was nice looking. It had a good stance with chrome or aluminum wheels. It cruised about 65 and sounded like the original engine had been replaced
And it had California plates. Maybe he is escaping the P. R. of Kalifornia. Or he just bought from a guy in California and just it off the car carrier.
Around here we are holed up due to an ice storm. The actual storm did not live up to its apocalyptic billing. A half inch of ice was predicted. We got mostly sleet instead, but everything is white again and well salted.
