Beautiful truck. I'm glad your dad is still around and able to get in your truck. Tell him thank you very much for his service to his country. Not many of those heros left.
That's awesome, John. Your Dad looks great. Glad you were able to show him the truck.
I'm amazed at how well he gets around, he really doesn't need the walker. A while back he was having some dizzy spells, so they said having the walker was a good idea so he could sit down.
His older sister is 97.

The last 100 yards of another Truckstock adventure:
I'm going to use "Truckstock" as an excuse to take my truck on a long extended fall trip for just as long as someone steps up and hosts one, and we are medically and mechanically up for the challenge.
Thanks for taking us along for the ride, Steve.
Although my first thought is that you were overdressed. We have still hit some 90 degree days, but things are starting to cool off.

Not through the windshield, but figured here was as good a place as any.
We took our grandson to a pumpkin patch farm entertainment place. It was pretty cool and we didn't take the ride to the pumpkin patch or do the corn maze. He had a blast.
I did see a cool old bus. I have always wanted a bus of this era and a 48-50 F1.
No engine in the bus, I couldn't tell on the F1. There was a radiator though. I also saw a nice hubcap on the seat. It was so clean it must have been a repop.
Every Fall I take a drive thru the mountains to visit my son's family in Los Alamos. We don't get a whole lot of color, just cottonwoods, and aspen at the higher elevations. The route goes thru the Jemez Mountains at elevations to 9100', and back down to Los Alamos at about 7500', ending in a short 10% grade down to a hairpin turn.
A couple of pics and here's a link to a video I patched together of the trip (lots of wind noise, unfortunately):
