I drove to Fort Smith, Arkansas to visit our niece and her family for the 4th. I was not in my truck.
Here are two vehicles I passed and one that showed up at the party.

This is a 47 Ford. It has a custom frame and a coyote engine in it. He hasn't had it very long and there is still work to do on it.
He said he wasn't much of a car guy, so I didn't go into too many questions. On question I did ask was how he got into the car if the battery was dead. He showed me the hidden releases. Pretty cool.
He has led lights under the car that he can control with his phone.

Not a pic, and not exactly through the windshield, but a short vid of pulling out of quick check and heading down the road home.

Looks beautiful, Ken! Your "over heating problem" on the right bank is non-existent, right?

Now your ready for the Central PA Truckstock. Scenery looks similar, too

Right! Just conflicting technology.

Working on it. Mainly putting on some miles. Went almost another 40 miles, making it an almost 100 mile day.

I got rained on, but that's okay. If it's going to melt, let it. Then I can move on.

Hot rod wife

I’m unable to drive or work on my own truck due to illness. My wife saved money to get my truck on the road and she even drives for me. I have the most amazing wife.

Took a little trip this weekend to the San Juan Chapter ATHS show in Aztec, NM. This year I trailered by morphodite roadster project behind my 49. Ran into a spot of rain on the way home today.
