Looks like a beautiful day for a drive! Not much snow on Mt Hood yet.
It's still early in the season, but the season is also coming early this year. Late spring and early fall/winter. It's been an unusually cold year in the NW.
A couple weeks ago the snow came down to around 3500 ft. and both mountains were white way down into the timbered areas - the skiers and boarders all got excited. Then, a couple days later the freezing level went back up to 8000 feet! Same here Wayne, a cooler summer than usual - hit low 90's just a couple times. - Bob
A week or two ago I delivered some hay bales to a friend. They live on the very end of a gravel road. It was a fun little trip. Just a few miles though.
