D5PZ-9A586-H .. Holley 4V Carburetor Tune Up Kit (Motorcraft CT-215-A) / Use with Carb ID tag codes: D4TE-ANA or D4TE-EAA / Obsolete

1974/75: C750/800; CT800; B750 & F750; L800; LN750/800; LNT/LT/LTS800 except all 1975's with CA emission.

Not sure if this is where need to ask. I have a COE 1968 Ford F800 VIN C80FUD02707 . I'd like to know the engine size. It is a V8 gas 4 barrel automatic trans. When I bought it, I was told is was a 460. idk
thanks, Felix

Not as original...it isn't.
C80 = C800 Tilt Cab (gas).

F = 391 4V FT engine.

U = Louisville KY Assembly Plant.

D02707 = 1968.

FT engines have 5 valve cover bolts per side. 460 (has 7 valve cover bolts per side) was not installed in anything larger than an F350.

It didn't look like a 460. And, yes, its all original. Only has 33,000 miles. It was a digger derrick, but i took the crane off and put it on a newer truck. I use it weekly. Thanks, again. You surely know your stuff.

D80 = C800 Tilt Cab (diesel).

C = Caterpillar model 225 8 Cylinder 636 cid diesel.

V = Kentucky Truck Assembly Plant.

P90304 = 1972.

175" Wheelbase.

M = Wimbledon White.

D808 = C800 Tilt Cab diesel, 35000 lbs. GVWR

4C8: 4C = Black Heavy Duty Vinyl / 8 = 91A Tilt Cab - Standard Cab.

N = Dana/Spicer model 6352 5 Speed Direct.

CPZ:

CP = Eaton model 19221 Two Speed Rear Axle / 5.43/7.39 / 23,000 lbs. Rear Axle Capacity.

Z = Domestic Special Order Front Axle. See if you can find an ID number stamped on it, otherwise I won't be able to identify it.

35,000 lbs. Gross Vehicle Weight Rating.

213 net HP @ 2,800 RPM

150832:

15 = Newark NJ Ford District Sales Office, where the original selling dealer ordered the truck from.

0832 = Domestic Special Order number. Truck ordered special by the original purchaser, not "bought off the lot."

The front axle that was installed was not an RPO (Regular Production Order), this made the truck a Domestic Special Order.

If the axle needed parts or had to be replaced, the dealer contacted FoMoCo with the 6 digit DSO .. Ford looked up the order number, gave the dealer the info where the parts could be found.

Thankyou, this was very helpful but i need to look into my engine. I thought i was dealing with a 391? The remainder makes sense. The truck also has a PTO but im not sure if that would have appeared in the decode.

Thanks again!
