NumberDummy,
Looks like you can help me...? F75FVU29449
1974 F750, any info is helpful, trying to figure out Motor/Carb, carb is leaking like a sieve, trying to get a rebuild kit..
Thanks in advance.
Not sure if this is where need to ask. I have a COE 1968 Ford F800 VIN C80FUD02707 . I'd like to know the engine size. It is a V8 gas 4 barrel automatic trans. When I bought it, I was told is was a 460. idk
thanks, Felix
It didn't look like a 460. And, yes, its all original. Only has 33,000 miles. It was a digger derrick, but i took the crane off and put it on a newer truck. I use it weekly. Thanks, again. You surely know your stuff.
If this truck is located in WA .. it has traveled a long way from its former home in NJ

CP = Eaton model 19221 Two Speed Rear Axle / 5.43/7.39 / 23,000 lbs. Rear Axle Capacity.

150832:
15 = Newark NJ Ford District Sales Office, where the original selling dealer ordered the truck from.
0832 = Domestic Special Order number. Truck ordered special by the original purchaser, not "bought off the lot."
The front axle that was installed was not an RPO (Regular Production Order), this made the truck a Domestic Special Order.
If the axle needed parts or had to be replaced, the dealer contacted FoMoCo with the 6 digit DSO .. Ford looked up the order number, gave the dealer the info where the parts could be found.
Thankyou, this was very helpful but i need to look into my engine. I thought i was dealing with a 391? The remainder makes sense. The truck also has a PTO but im not sure if that would have appeared in the decode.
Thanks again!
