When I left for vacation on the 15th I weighed in at 258, came back on the 23rd and weighed 262. Went back on Keto the 24th so I weighed in today and I'm already back down to 258. Sucks that it packed on those pounds during vacation but it's sure nice that it came right back off!

Now back to the grind

certainly! salt is imperative! lest we die without it!
i'd probably be fine eating the 2.5g daily, since im sweating so much every day, but i'll see in about a month. got a blood test that i'm super excited about lol! i'll get to see sodium, potassium, vitD, and cholesterol - all of which i like to keep an eye on. but also i wanna see where my liver enzymes are!

Science...
i'll be eating 6 eggs today lol! i'm probably going to keep up at least 4 eggs a day for a while, and then i get my blood panel done, i bet my cholesterol will be just fine with all the cruciferous veggies and exercise!

I'm guessing for at least a year, I originally had a weight loss goal of 50 lbs but now I'm thinking I'd be much happier losing 100 lbs. It would be put me at 185, and with my 6' 3" height coupled with a thick frame I think that would be pretty good place for me.

I don't think I'll ever get "completely" off the diet plan, but I may allow a few more breads\pastas back into my meals once my goal weight is attained. Sugar can take a hike as far as I'm concerned, lol.

my plan is the same! no more sugar & very limited breads and pastas!
kinda funny, im only 5ft 9-10" at 185, so you'd be like a fitness model at 185! you familiar with Greg Plitt? he was 6ft 1" and about 190 pounds at his best.

Welp, that kinda puts it into perspective.....maybe 50 lbs is a little more possible! Haha

I guess I was going off the BMI scale which I have heard mixed reviews on. Maybe losing 85 lbs and putting myself at 200 would be the best goal.

I have to be more realistic with myself, I don't work out much at all and a diet can only get me so far

I wish my wife wouldn't have sold my weight system. It was a nice one, but it was free weights, and I would like something I can do unsupervised without getting crushed under weights.

I don't care for the generally accepted BMI scale lol! it basically says that i should weigh around 170. well that's 15 pounds lol, and at my current fitness level, thats 15 pounds of muscle, so to BMI i say nnnnnno! lol

i kinda have a 3-way strategy going on in my head all during my workout. (1) "i CAN do it! Get out of my way doubt & fear!!!", (2) "how many more can I safely do without dropping it?", and (3) "is my form right, am i gonna hurt a shoulder/ankle/knee/etc?"

ok so today i decided to do a couple different things, one of them was to do only 2 sets of abs (crunches) of 100 reps each. and they were up-and-sqeeze reps lol, i was toast! and the other was doing 4 sets of 8 (each arm) on single arm dumbell row. usually i do three sets with plenty of rest towards the end of the workout, but this time i did all 4 sets with no rest in the middle of the workout. i'm thinking right now that it was a mistake lol! but i think tomorrow i'll be glad i did

I was up in weight today, but something tells me that I should be back on track tomorrow. At least hopefully.
