I'm in for lunch. I haven't even made it to Lee's truck yet. I did and axle seal in an '08 Malibu. I swapped four tires and wheels around. (First tire customer! Woo Hoo!) I refinished a part for a guy, and sent the core engine back to the scrap yard.
Now I can start on what I planned to do this morning. Lee's truck should have tunes before too long.
hey alan.. i need to see when you would have time to work on my daughter explorer..i have to go to kansas city on the 19th and it would be great if i could take it..while you still have the trailer on your dent maybe you could come down and haul it back with you.. if you have a idea on the weight of that dodge i would give ya scap price..would give ya a reason to come down..then i could load ya up with the extra bowtie parts i have laying around collecting dust
That sounds like a plan RC. I have no idea what this thing weighs. I wish there was a feed scale close by. I have the burned up transmission that goes with it too, so there's a little more weight.
Lee is gonna be rockin' out now. I just finished up his tunes and put the dash back together. The new stereo sounds great! There's still more to do, though. This poor truck has had a hard life.
The Chevy truck I just put the engine in died on the guy's wife just now. She said she was driving along and it just shut off. I hope it's nothing I did. It can't be. I made sure it was all right. I guess I'll see when it gets back down here. It's up on Kearney st. right now. I'm betting the fuel pump went south.

Ches, I know about those trucks. It's not as common as people think, but yeah, that'll be on the list of things to check. Thanks for lookin' out, though.
Morning gentlemen, just stopping by long enough to say howdy before I step back out for work. Ches, I'll see if I can find something exciting for you either today tomorrow morning.
that is why i am so happy i closed my shop..for 30 years i dreaded everytime time the phone rang...... "hello R.C. my truck stopped running..it never did that before you put those new air fresheners in"...ha ha ha ha
