I'll have to make arrangements to pick it up on Saturday, or maybe Friday night.
I searched Craigslst for the ad of a 93 being parted out in Bolivar. I had bought the stone deflector off of it for my 92, but I can't seem to find the ad now. Some how all my texts from and to the guy got deleted off my phone too, I didn't delete them, so I have no idea what happened.
Sorry guys, been kinda bummed out, so ant been posting as much?
So I wanted to do all these cool things to the Bronco with my taxes! but being a grown up is starting to talk me out of it. I can only afford to lift it or paint it ?
What do you all think should I lift it or paint it?
If you have the tires or have access to them and the gears, lift it. if not, paint it and try to rathole some back for the lift kit.
Rustallion is in primer now. What a relief. The owner is planning on it being painted and reassembled by next week so she can take it to West Plains for her dad to put the engine and transmission in.
Well folks I am around and REAL busy, thanks for the concern Ches. Since I got here it has been with a local area flight/ck flt "here you go have at it". Not much has changed since 2003 except they are not shooting at us every time we fly over.
Went to the range monday and got repeat training on the M-4 and glock 19 (9mm) we used a glock 23 (45) in fl. Got some awesome speed draw close quarters combat (CQB)training. I can shoot my way out of a wet paper bag with 2 other folks in it.lol
Have about 12 to 14 hrs a day but I am salary now on the flt schedule tomorrow and busy as a one armed man shoveling sand with a pitch fork.
Ches tires first, then mechanical, then lift, then paint......then more lift and bigger tires or HP eng stuff or lockers after mechanical, decisions.......
I've been the big wig at work now for 2 months... and I'm already looking forward to the boss coming back.
Ches - I feel your pain. I've got more things I'd like to do with the tax refund than there is tax refund too. Everyone is right - spend the money on mechanical first. The lift & paint can wait until later, but you need a reliable truck now. I'll be spending part of ours on exhaust work, a couple of new keys & programming, and tires. I've been shopping around, but so far I'm not happy with what I'm finding on the tire front...
I'm not worried about reliability! I could take it any where! IF I had the gas!
Im leaning more to paint and body! the body looks like crap! wheels and tires look good, so will have good looking rig with new paint wheels and tires! If I went lift the truck would still look 1/2 done!
