Big Red looks to be a GM style frame. That's where I'm sourcing my parts for my Jeep. Going to have a full GM drivetrain. 5.3L Gen 3 Vortec(factory injection), 700r4 4sp automatic O/D, NP 208(hopefully with 32 spline input), 14 bolt rear and GM Dana 44 front with flattop knuckles. The Jeep is currently a spring under on front which will use the GM spring over config and the rear of the Jeep has outboard mounted springs which will be moved under the frame rails with the 14 bolt. The Jeep frame is the exact same width and spacing as the factory spring pad locations on the 14 bolt axles. Just going to have to plate and pierce the rear frame rails for the shackles. Oh, also going to do a shackle reversal on the front axle to get the axles moving the same direction. All that work should easily clear 37" tires.

Morning gentlemen...generally if I'm up this time of morning I'm either going to or coming from work. Not today, when my wife's alarm went off so she could head to work...it woke me up. I thought if I laid there and stayed quite (like we tell the kids) I'd fall back to sleep. No such luck.

Don't feel bad Z... I'm usually up at this hour myself - only I'm getting ready for work.

What is your defination of "cool"? Had an ambulance slow roll past the house this morning (0500) all lights, no siren. Went around the corner;never heard it leave and it wasn't there when I took the kids to school...have no idea what that was all about.

Just went for a run, down around the airport! running more and walking less! About 1 1/4 miles

Ches, at 0300 our cat got in a fight with another cat and all the growling and what not woke me up. I got dressed, went outside and drop kicked the "intruder" cat down the driveway. It was all quiet after that.
