I did pretty well today. I got the old engine out, the oil pump, sump, pan, pan gasket, and engine mounts replaced and the new engine in and sitting on the mounts, mated to the trans.
I also got the front brakes done on Lee's truck. It at least stops now. The pedal still sucks though. I'll have to pull the back wheels and see what's up there. I forgot how much fun front rotors are on a 3/4 ton 4x4. It took a minute to disassemble the hubs and press the wheel studs out and then back in. The front is all good now. I think one of the next things I do is going to be fixing the friggin' door handle so I can open the driver's door from the inside.
Well you all had a 60"s + day, I had a mild ice storm hit here this evening. But none the less I am outa here and home tomorrow. BTW Unk Bob did you ever talk to the guy needing the "blinker arm"?
Was great to talk to you, sorry had to chat and run, we ended putting both helo's in one hanger because the storm.
Good morning youins, I got the 68 Rustallion in epoxy primer last night. Now on to the surfacer primer, then paint. Maybe by this weekend I'll be spraying paint on this one...I hope.
Well I had a 0700 wake call and had to make a run up to Allentown airport for some IFR charts and publications?? Why do they need them at 0700, how about figuring it out last night?
Weather and roads are good, so I am south bound to Philly shortly. So GOOD morning there folks!
Listen we all really need to buy some property together and put ONE HUGE (super walmart size bldg) shop in the middle and all live on the surrounding acreage. Like in each corner or make it pentagon shaped so we can all cover the perimeter.
And store our Ford trucks there, like a peaceful Waco Tx kinda place. That way we all can work Alan to death on our stuff and wear out his tire machine.....lol
Of course Unk Bob is in charge of the Christmas lights, that will be put up year round of course. And we need our own place to go 4 wheeling, shoot guns, and hunt bambi so we need like a 1000 or more acres, is what I am thinking.
Who's in on this dream?
I'm in.

Yeah...it sounds like Alan might be getting bored...

I'm all in on "Shopville". Just don't work me too hard guys. My brittle body may break all together. .
I better get back to work. I just came in for a little grub.

Shopville sounds good to me - all I need to do now is win the Lottery.

Apparently, we'll need an office as well.
We're forgetting something...I'm sure of it....
