I see more of us are signed in today. Wonder if the weather has anything to do with that. Spent a good part of the day yesterday when it was near 60 on lake taneycomo. My neighbor Chris and I each pulled out 3 nice Trout.
Today is an inside day here. I got the rest of the entertainment center upstairs and in the back bedroom I have claimed. So I'm putting that together, hooking up my electronic toy's, Satelite, Dvd player, old Pioneer stereo that has been sitting in Limbo for several years.
Hope everybody's doen well.
I have a few things on "The List" and supposed to have a person come out this afternoon and sounds like they want the bedroom furniture I want gone.
If that happens, I may venture up to Bestbuy in Springfield and get the stuff I need to mount my new stereo in the 01. The factory stereo sounds great, but the 6 disc changer is really acting up. Will skip easy, at times it locks up, the volume **** is super touchy in this weather. If you try to turn it up or down, it will turn all the way up in the blink of an eye.
So that will be a Ford related thing there.....
Looks like things are headed the right direction for Unk Bob, Alan and RC. I still haven't found an adapter for my two new TV's to go to the stereos the former tv's were hooked to. Samsung uses a 5.1 digital optical plug for audio out, no RCA's, neither of my stereos is new enough to have that fancy stuff. I might have to get surround sound systems for them both...definitely for the shop so I can hear my NHRA this season.

Yep the newer systems are going to that Optical input/output for the sound. (I'm a huge fan of home theater). In that extra bedroom I have confinscated(?) I brought up an older Sony 5.1 surround reciever. I have an extra set of speakers for. That is for the Blue Ray player, and game system. Then there is my HANDS OFF!!!! Old Pioneer from 1978-1980, with same era cassette deck, and Reverb amp!!!
I didn't know there was an adaptor to go from Optical to an RCA jack?
Nope.... Not truck or even Ford stuff..... BUT............. We did chime in!

All this talk about electronics & adapters reminds me the 31" TV here in the trailer started to curl the top 1/3 of the screen. Figured 6 years in a trailer on the road took it's toll on it. For the record you can only buy flat panel TV's now...the few pawn shops I've checked laughed at me when I ask if they had such a creature. Now it's a matter of figuring out which one/size will fit the opening that the old TV goes into.

My electronics supplier can't find anything to do the trick. I think Imma have to bite the bullet and just buy a surround sound.
