Alan I will be back in Missouri tues evening, and an pretty sure I have 2 sets of 460 exhaust manifolds settting on the work bench.

If not I have a set on the 460 in the maroon parts truck......and the 2 spare 460's setting around each have a set, so I am sure I have you covered.

And they are all easy to reach......

RC good on you to make a new friend, people need interaction with the opposite gender, its good for the soul.

Guys, y'all gotta give me a chance to catch up. I'm about a week and a half behind. Actually a little more than that.

I'll be more than happy to do everything, but I HAVE to get caught up here. I have trucks parked out back that need work, I have trucks out front that need work, .....I'm just swamped here.

Rich, I'm gonna get a good look at this manifold Bob dropped off and see if it'll work. He had the one off his 429. If I can make it work, that truck is outta here. Then on to the Bravada engine.

I am to old and out of shape to do anything but slow at the moment

Stretch, warm up, get the blood flowing and 1/2 walk/run 1/4 and then turn around and run back. Its a crawl walk run mentality.......its not fun but healthy for you.

Good Morning Everybody!

Brian, do what Rich says. I like to do a cool down walk afterwards too, along with a cool down stretch.

Ches, I gotta lay eyes on the Bronco before I can give you a number. Don't worry, I'll help you out.

RC, have fun down in Arkansas. (just don't get arrested) Seriously though, I'm glad you found somebody to spend your time with. I'm very happy for you.

Coffee's done brewing, I think I'll get a cup.

Good Morning all - it looks like a pretty good day shaping up out there.

I've got the day off, but that doesn't mean much as I have a lot to get done today. I'm going to stop by a local scrap yard this afternoon and run a few more errands, but the bulk that needs to be done is around here.

Borderbum, if you have a vacuum gauge, put it on the vacuum hose that comes off of the back of the intake manifold and goes to the brake booster. that gauge will tell you if you have a bad valve. That needle is going to go crazy! It will also tell you if you have a timing problem etc. Every 400 I've had was also good about the rockers backing off, then the valves aren't opening completely! I'd start with that gauge! Just a thought!

Unk Bob

Really thinking about getting those running boards on the 01 today. Sure wish the wind would mellow out. Atleast it isn't cold out, like it is supposed to be tomorrow.
No way I can do a project like that in the wussy garage we have here. Some day I'll live in the boony's and have me a nice shop I can put Ka'Bluey, the 01 and my tools in and just hide.

Unk Bob

i need a grille shell for a 35 ford ..any of you guys have one laying around your not using... i am stuck with deciding what engine to use.. i like the old 42 flathead i have ..but i also have a couple of nailheads that are real torque monsters.. the straight 8 buick in that 53 would be cool looking, but to have something different i thought about the packard V/8 sitting out back would have em guessing at the shows.. i am getting excited thinking about a new project..
