Same here. I hate my E4OD.

I stumbled across a deal too good to pass up. 2 T5s with bellhousings for $150!

And the internals are relatively easy to put in..
I don't hate my e4od.. I just like having fun with manuals
E4od is a good trans until you at 35 + tires and and add lower gears

The C6 I have is prolly the best and strongest Auto Ford has yet to build. But I also would scrap it for a 5 speed. Anyone want to sell me everything I will need for the conversion?

its looking good so far. I wish I had the T-18 in TGM but I have heard it isn't what it is cracked up to be, and with only 4 gears highway driving sucks. but I think I could deal with it.

Lol basically 3 gears, the granny first is useless above 5 mph. My old 78 was a 4 (3) speed.

Haha yeah. It would still be kinda cool i guess. I miss having a manual shifter... But I feel safe with a C-6 and i am not worried about it breaking.

Youd have to try to break an old T-18. That C6 is bulletproof too tho.

I found out that 2my of my transmissions are world class. Year of manufacture are 83, 89, and 94.

Im gonna use the 94. It was missing the input bearing shaft anyway, which I couldn't use with my set-up. The 89 is identical in specs..
