I love F150s. But for the price there was nothing close. I actually got this at a Ford lot. I was looking at a few Lariats as thats about what compares to this truck. However all the lariats were at least $5-7k more then this one. Not to mention I believe the dodge has a bit more room in the cab then Fords. Not to mention that the Hemi is better then the 5.4 or 4.6 IMHO.
This truck is called a Big Horn edition. It really is nice, I'll post a few more pics here soon.
That 5.4 in my f250 has survived 20 in of snow in nj from lastyears storm in dec-feb..
I would never touch a dodge unless it was a 5.9 cummins IMO..
As mr 88 dually here.. he could have had a lot more now than I did
But post some pics.. lol ill admit I'm an ******* and not a dodge guy..
But that 5-7k more for an ecoboost lariat. Damn you would be pulling 2 broncos while the dodge pulls 1 lol
That's a pretty nice truck! You probably should have gotten a Humvee though! ...Alright fine! I don't think those are any good for towing and not as comfortable.. but I want one!! And no not an H2 or H3 or the equivalent PT Cruiser (I hate H2s and 3s.)
Anyways that's a pretty nice truck. I personally love the look of the 92-96 Broncos and F-series trucks the most out of any truck. My next favorite looking truck would probably be the Ford Raptor, but thats not too cheap..
Since we are on the topic of new trucks now, why not just spend the 500k to have one of these imported from Africa
Also, Dually even if the entire drivetrain is all for not, the bronco itself is still worth the 1k. you could easily make that back in parts. Or do what i did, invest way to much ($2000) in a truck that you nor the PO know anything about then put some serious TLC into it and a few 1000 in parts and make it your baby.
Brett what car did you sell? I drove a lot of these style Dodges at the dealership i worked at and i will say i was unimpressed. Though they are comfy, they just didn't seem that nice. I guess i am more into the older vehicles with mechanical levers and a mechanical throttle.
There was an H1 here for sale but they suck. I work on Humvees and drove em everyday. Not worth what the dealers ask.
I really was looking at the eco boost. However the Hemi has more power. The weight rating is also a bit more i beleive as thia has a towing package. Also the ride is much better as the Dodge has a coil spring 5 link rear axle.
Lol im a Ford guy through and through but this is a nice truck hands down. I knew i was gonna get some rash tho posting a dodge truck on a ford truck site tho. Its all good tho. Least its not a chebby
Import the H3? No thanks!! Just kidding I know you weren't talking about that. Yeah.. that truck would be a little impractical for a daily driver and tower I would think. But for this December, the 21st specifically, it may be useful. Those Zombies aren't going to stop that easily.
I have access to to plenty of military trucks if the need arises.
I traded my 2010 Mustang, plain V6 model in for this. This truck is nice, only options it doesnt have is Navi (didn't want, I have a smartphone), leather (didnt really want as it tears easier and Im afraid itd stain) and a sunroof (I've had them and they almost always leak, I'd got a convert if I wanted that)
My main preferences when looking were had to be full 4 door cab, had to be 4wd/AWD, I wanted a center console not a bench. This truck also already had a good spray in bed liner, and a locking tonneau cover plus step bars.

The dodge doesn't look bad, i just wouldn't personally own one. I'll stick with something that has a carb that i can fart around in. One question though, did you look at the manual version of that truck? I drove a super lifted 2 door base model one this last winter. It was, interesting.
Haha it is called the Marauder, it was featured on the american version of Top Gear recently. It looks like an awesome truck to have.
I don't have those, but I do have access to an Armored Security Vehicle.

Sadly Dodge nor anyone else offers a manual in a full size truck anymmore. I did look at the power wagon and the Raptor, both of those are well into $60k, lol more then twice what I paid for this truck.
Yeah, but the Raptor didnt start with a crewcab till 2012 I think. And it was 55k before dealer mark-ups and any options.
Plus have you guys heard of the Ram runner? Its teh same as the Raptor only you have to order it special they dont stock them. Plus you can upgrade a regular Ram into one if you so choose. lol making me sound like a Dodge fan boy, I did own a Dodge before and it was hands down the best, most durable truck I've evver owned, and I beat the P!$$ out of it.
