Geez, yeah sometimes I just feel like giving up on the truck because even a simple job turns into a mess because of all the hack jobs that the PO did on it. But I love working on my truck, even if it is frustrating sometimes and I have to let it sit for a week while I wait on parts/money.
Damn! I really hope I just have a wiring issue with my window switch. My dash switch for the rear window doesn't work, but JBG wants $64 with shipping for a new one! Yikes. I need to check on the cam latch because I know mine doesn't work (the window could be put up or down with tailgate down via key)
I already tried that. This dang switch has 5 terminals! The window is supposed to have a safety latch to prevent operation when tailgate is down to protect glass. That is what I assume is wired in there too.
I'll have to go over the wiring diagrams tomorrow to find out. A regular power window switch is only $12..there has to be something magical inside the rear switch for $64.....
