I agree that the SBFs are leaps and bounds better then the SBC, thats why I hate that all the auto places keep SBC aftermarket stuff in stock when I have to order my SBF stuff.
i hate that too because when i needed a water pump gasket like right now.. they have to order it.. wtf..
i could walk in there right now and get a 5.7 water pump gasket
I have no clue whats going on. Isn't the Allison tranny mated to the Cummins? I heard that was a beastly tranny.
Anyways so about them 351M's their so cool
imo i still think you cant beat a 351w..
but were talking about which teeruk is the best and 302/351c/w vs 350 and 360..

Haha i know.. But if the modified was efi then it might have a chance :P I have seen the cummins/allison combo in pickups before. They would come into the GMC dealership i worked at to get fluid changes or other stuff done. Mostly engine work.
The Alisson is a great trans....in a pick-up. We have them in some of our big army trucks (2.5T and up), the early gens are the biggest pieces of ******. The newer ones are much better but I still don't really trust them once they get some miles on them.
I have seen allison cummins combos but I believe they are swaps and not OEM.
We haven't had rain in almost 50 days. For Washington state 51 days is the record, i have a feeling we will top that. But that just means we will probably have a lame winter with little to no snow.
Yeah I was leading a massive (well about 15 trucks) Humvee drivers training event today. Just after we fueled up it hit us like a monsoon. Made having a rookie driver behind the wheel that much more stressful.
