I found my receiept so I'll let it hang upside down lol. If that doesn't work. Ill have Advance replace it.
That will be odd if it does work. I have yet to replace mine and that is the only part of my starting system besides the ignition key i have not replaced. It looks fairly new though.
Just got the truck back from the Exhaust shop. I had then weld up a few spots that were leaking. I originally just had clamps on everything. Now we found out that my header gaskets are blown. Will it ever end lol.
Has anyone ever used those fancy copper or aluminum gaskets?
I haven't messed with the solenoid yet. Usually if i play with the shifter itll start. I know that sounfs like an MLPS issue but everything is lined up there. Plus when i just the solenoid everything fires up just like it should. Wouldnt hurt to double check the MLPS tho
I was fresh out of duct tape. Just need to get some high temp duct tape...
Nothing new to report on the Bronco, however I have had several offers on the truck. I listed it locally as entertaining offers/trades. I ahve received offers on a 05 GSXR 750, another one that made me think was a 91 F350 witha 460/5 spd 15" lift and 46" tires. However thats way too big to actually use on the road. One offer I am still thinking about is a 96 Dodge ram ext cab 4wd with 5.9 V8. I had a similiar truck awhile back and miss it.
I would really hate to part with the Bronco but lately it seems that I really could use something with a traditional bed and easier access to the rear seats.
Bah, just me ramblin, not much of an update. What do you guys think?
You already know what I think of you getting rid of the Bronco, you will regret it for life. I'm yet to meet a Bronco owner who didn't regret selling the truck. You have a nice stable, maybe adding a small reg-cab shot bed pick-up or newer F-150 for the sake of versatility.
I blame that darned Mustang... you have been neglecting the Zebra since you bought that toy. And rear seats... Do you use those much? let the ones sitting behind care for the access .
I definitely agree with Encho, I've heard so many people say they wish they still had their Bronco. Yes, its not the MOST convenient with the rear seats, but it's not really all that bad either.
Besides, if you do want a traditional bed, I'm sure you could find an older F-150 or Dodge ram thats not terribly expensive that is still in good shape, and keep the Bronco.
That's true. Plus whatever I'd get would prolly need work. That takes money away from my coupe funds. Cant have that happening. Tho I think the truck should get a bit of work. I may look into a small 2.5"-3" lift and some nice mud tires, been wanting to do that forever just never got around to it.
First off, keep the zebra you will regret losing it... Next, why not get a trailer that has a pickup bed on it? Thats what i plan to find. I still have my Ranger but it is on a downhill slope and probably won't recover unless it gets a new motor.
I have thought about getting a trailer, but at my current hosue I really don't have any room for one. I am going to keep the Zebra. I know I don't use it very much, but I know that when I need to use it, it'll be ready!
