OLD DECODES
If you need parts, obsolete or not, I can look up the numbers, then search for them on two online websites to see if anyone has them. Then will post the part numbers, sources that have them.
If the parts are still available, I will list the MSRP and the FTE member discount price offered by sponsor PARTSGUYED.COM (Ed Olson, parts manager of Horizon Ford in Seattle WA).
I've been doing this jazz on FTE since 11/04/2006. And, btw: One of the parts locator sites is only accessible to FoMoCo Dealers.

Ford Trucks for Ford Truck Enthusiasts
A little background info about this truck:
This is an old fire truck with 11,000 original miles. It has what I consider an odd shift pattern 5 speed plus a 2 speed rear axle. The shift pattern looks like:
2-4-R
3-5-1
The clutch just barely engages at the top 1/2 inch of travel so I'm trying to figure out what part(s) I need to start looking for to replace the clutch.
The doors still close like they're new and there are no dents or rust anywhere. The fire department installed a new 24HP transfer pump on it about 12 years ago and it moves water very well. I already replaced the hydro-vac booster under the cab a few months back, but now it's sucking a heck of a lot of air through that little breather behind the seat which also makes the engine have a really bad vacuum leak. Looks like I need to change it out again.
The truck spent 2 weeks completely submerged thanks to the Midwest flooding last month and I'm doing everything I can to get it back to being healthy. All fluids have been changed, the fuel tank flushed and filled, several hours of pressure washing everything to remove the mud deposits, and then a second oil change after running the engine 5 minutes. The first oil change poured out 100% water only, the second oil change came out looking like butterscotch. Obviously, I didn't try starting the engine before the first oil change. I'm a bit surprised it started and ran as well as it did. I gave the Briggs and Stratton engine on the new pump the same treatment so it's running nice again too. Right now, we're using it as a wash water tanker for more flood cleanup efforts. With the bad clutch, we are almost to the point of just dragging it with a tractor since the water source is within a mile of where we're cleaning.
Possibly a Clark direct. The trans code can be decoded, so stand by on that one.

It should not be sucking air through the breather all the time--only briefly when you step on the brake.
Does the clutch lock up solid with your foot off the pedal, and does it shift ok with the clutch depressed?
The breather sucks air continuously and seems to actually slow down a bit when I step on the brakes. The brakes seem to work fine.
The clutch locks up firm enough to move the truck around in low gears, but I can slip it if I stab the throttle. It's definitely past it's serviceable life and there's no adjustment left on the linkage. Shifting works normally when the pedal is pressed. None of the online parts lookups I found know this truck exists so I'm not sure how to find the part numbers.
This is a 1967 F600 w/a 361 2V FT engine assembled in Kansas City MO and ordered from Omaha NE Ford sales office.
Rear axle was a Domestic Special Order as there's no code for it. The D is the front axle code.
I'll decode the whole enchilada later tonight.
E = 361 2V FT Engine.
K = Kansas City MO Assembly Plant.
A99444 = 1967.
174" Wheelbase.
J = Rangoon Red.
F602 = F600 (gas), 20000 lbs. GVWR
481: 4 = Medium Beige Crush Vinyl & Medium Beige Bar Pattern Vinyl / 81 = 81A Standard Cab.
R = Clark model 2621-V1 or 2622-V1 5 Speed Direct.
D = Optional Ford-Rockwell/Timken 7,000 lbs. Capacity Front Axle. There is no rear axle code.
20,000 lbs. Gross Vehicle Weight Rating.
182 net HP @ 3,800 RPM
540093:
54 = Omaha NE Ford District Sales Office, where the original selling dealer ordered the truck from.
0093 = Domestic Special Order number, truck ordered special by the original purchaser, not "bought off the lot."
Since there's no rear axle code, that's one reason why this truck was a Domestic Special Order.
If it was sent out by Ford after it left the assembly line to have the fire apparatus installed, that's another reason.
