Progress ... hanging sheetmetal!!
Interior didn't get painted on Saturday. We started fixing some issues and ran out of time. Gerald will spray the front part of the cab gloss black tomorrow and Tuesday the rest of the cab will be sprayed semi-gloss black. Wednesday we will put the diamond plate floor in and install the passenger side seat and gas tank. We got a lot to do before Friday's date with the paint shop!!

Interior painted!!!

We used gloss black for the dash. I bought semi-gloss for the rest but it came out a matte finish which I like better.
The pictures aren't the greatest.

Put the diamond kick plate up against the wall to see how good it looks.

Rear door and interior panels painted off the truck.

Picked up the front bell mount diamond plate from the metal shop also today. They did a nice job.

Going to round the edges the the original.

Yer pic's are just great, really great. Man this old engine is coming along nice. Thanks bud for such excellent documentation. Do you realize that the information just in this thread alone would make a very well put together documentary. In a book or TV or for sure on U-Tube. Think about it. I would most definitely be in line for a copy of the first print.
Awesome stuff

Absolutely an achievement to be very proud of, and one that your family will cherish, and your comunity will enjoy, for many generations to come. Congatulations Keith, And thank you for sharing it with all of us on FTE.
Dang Keith, I'm getting anxious! I can't wait to see this thing in full color.
I'm really enjoying your first book. I will gladly line up to buy the next one as well.
I'm glad you decided to leave the interior diamond plate panels unpainted, the contrast will be great once its all put together
Bobby
