You just don't understand "body shop talk". When they say it'll be ready "today" or it'll be ready on such and such day after such and such time, it really means that "we're still behind schedule on your vehicle and are just telling you what you want to hear". The vehicle is not actually "ready" until they call you asking to pick it up because they want to get paid.

I'm used to that talk, because I work in that industry.

I get what you are saying but they knew I had hired a truck to come pick up mine today so they should of called me when they knew it wasn't ready. Now the trucker will probably hit me for an additional charge which is in order as it wasn't his fault.

She's home!!! Trucking company came at 2PM and picked up the truck. They didn't charge me for the cancellation the other day. The paint looks nice and shiny. Here are some pics!!

Now that's a more suitable trailer.

I envy you, but at the same time, I don't. I'd be a nervous wreck when putting that thing back together not trying to scratch anything.

Thanks guys. It was much easier bringing her home this time. He used his winch which was much easier on me. Dying to get started putting her back together but at this point short on $$$. Will have to do a little at a time until I come up with some funds.
