I still think it will be ok with one blocked off... The valve is more for the presure front to back than side to side.

All the worry can stop now. I even had several people that stopped by to check out the truck tell me "ya need ta sure up those spring hangers, cuz when you jump it, they might bend the frame"

I got the X-members, gusset tubes and orbital gusset tacked in today. Got the new v-belt also.

Gonna take the last wheel to my "welder" tomorrow and will have it back Friday afternoon.

All that's left for the hydraulics is buy a new Saginaw pump (the one with the o-ring fitting instead of the inverted flare) and an 18" hydro hose. I'm determined to drive this thing off the garage pad Friday evening.

Lots of welding left to do!

As for the proportioning valve mystery, I'm gonna hope the blocked off port doesn't cause 2x the pressure to route to the front caliper and just see what happens. If it locks up the front tires and the rears don't even grab, then I know what I did wrong.

I'll post more pictures when the welding is done.

Bought a brand new Saginaw pump today and mounted it on my custom bracket with the new v belt today. Got the gussets and x-members fully welded. Also made some plates to cap the frame horns I cut off to make the frame and hangers for an even mounting surface for the custom bumper. I made two pairs of leaf spring clamps from 1" wide, 1/4 thick plate to help the axle wrap issue. I also scored a sweet set of anti-wrap bars from a buddy that I'm gonna try to get on tomorrow. I got my fenders back out of storage and took an pair of electric snips to it. Snips are way better for cuttin' fenders than a sawzall! I cut out the marker lights and lower aluminum portion from the grill shell too. I'll post pictures sometime later today. And hopefully a video of it drivin', steerin' and stoppin'.

Made enormous progress this weekend with shocks, anti-wrap bar, bumpers and custom bed incomplete. The bed has a cab length toolbox and two side toolboxes recessed in two 1/4" steel plates as well as a recessed 22 gallon fuel cell. It's not mounted yet though. There's several "lower priority" things that aren't done but it drives, it turns (very well!) and it stops (better than stock on 33's). It also flexes like a boss.

Tires mounted on new rims
All gussets and x-members welded
Steering plumbed
Cylinder mounted
Fenders and grill trimmed

It's a tree branch. No pictures of the bed yet but I'll get some when I'm done with it.

Not too shabby. I'm curious to how well it will wheel now. Only downfall I see it the tires themselves. They wouldn't be my first choice.

Master cylinder is leaking so I replaced it today and I'm gonna rebuild the carb later on. Still needs a front drive shaft. It needs to have the cv head type to prevent binding. Next on the list is buy more oxygen so I can make brackets for the anti-wrap bar then finish the bed.

Just throwin' this out there. You need a trim on the fenders. I like how they don't look like some jacked up sawzall action. Trim or something to cover up the fact that it was cut though. Who knows. Maybe a bead roller..

Anyways, looking good.
47" tires would look better imo.

Bah. I'm tired. Bedtime.

Somehow I think this is the last thing hes worried about.
The truck looks good. I honestly dont like the tire choice either, but that depends on you.

Are you saying it needs trim for appearance or safety? I cut them a 1/2" longer and rolled that part under. Its not just a jagged edge.
