I got 2 rears, 1 front, 10 wheels, 10 tubes, 10 liners, all the lug nuts, 2 driveshafts with u joints for $1000.

I had already bought a rear before that for $200 so I have 2 extras. I'm gonna sell one and keep the other for parts.

Having two fronts would be pretty cool. I wouldn't mind having a set for some rear steers.
If/When I go rockwells, i'm thinking two 2.5ton steering axles in a buggy set up.

Who knows, might go that route soon anyways. Kind of tired of the F350 now days, trails only get smaller lol.

Edit:
That is a damn good deal though. I sold my front and two rears with driveshafts for $1000. The guy drove like 500 miles though lol.

You read that right. Shortened rocks on a rear steer buggy will be easier to get around with. And I didn't exactly say I was going to use a rear steer buggy for trails.. just said the F350 is getting too big for them.

If you were giving them away, yes I would have.
Otherwise, your out of your mind.

Kirby- What kind of wheels came with the deal? just roll arounds or what?
You can get a set of rebuilt 2.5's with roll arounds here for under a grand.

In Washington Rockwells are usually two grand rebuilt. I gave the guy the skinny tires for the rear axles, I think he was planning to run 53's, same as Kirby.

2 grand for 2.5 tons is unheard of here. I guess since we have gotten so big with tractor trucks they are a dime a dozen.

10 stock rockwell rims. Things have different values in different places. There are almost no Rockwells to be found in Georgia.

Got the front pinion brake installed today and ordered knuckle boots from Boyce. Sat the original bumper on it just to see how it looked.

I probably made $2500 parting out my 6x6. Bought it for $800 so it was a decent gain.

Whats left?

Okay, I don't remember if you said you were doing this or not, but I'm thinking this is going to be essential to not tearing your frame apart or losing your front axle in a giant goatse sized mud hole. My computer refused to open the picture of your truck in mspaint in either jpeg or bitmap formats because "they aren't supported format" (wtf?). Anyway, my complete and utter lack of understanding of photoshop is very apparent right here but you get the idea.

I would also recommend the same thing up higher on the frame. Those two mounts for the front of the leaf springs should really go all the way to the top of the frame for this crossmember that you're going to put there to tie in to. If you aren't too far into it I would think about going back and redoing that part. Just my 2 pennys
