Don't apologize for wanting to have an opinion. You should have provided some advice on how to make it more safe during the build so I could have disregarded it then instead of now.
What I learned:
8" lift leaf springs and no shocks is a rough ride and it's wise to wear a helmet
My thoughts on anti-wrap bars were a good idea and will soon become reality
It needs more gear - low max kit for the 205 is on the way
More power won't hurt
I need a bigger cooler on my hydro system
I need to have "get-in" chains
Michelin's work fine in the mud, if you have a big motor
I'm going to start saving for a Grizzly locker for the front axle
My truck is NOT a good "how bad's that hole" gauge for other trucks
And lastly, MY TRUCK IS A FREAKIN' BOWSS! (and I build it in my back yard)
I just have chains bolted through the rocker panel so the top of the bolt is covered by the door when shut. They just flop around under the pickup, and don't get in the way. Never had them catch on anything. I'll find a pic
