    Thanks for the reps, I did the same thing he did when I was doing my ball joints but realized soon enough to correct it before I reassembled everything.

    Not really.

    f you are working on the ground, use some decent jackstands. Have a decent manual handy.

    If you are stuck for procedures, I can relay the ford shop service manual procedures to you on trans removal.


    The 4r100 trans is fairly heavy. have a good trans jack handy.

    hey, I see you responded to my thread. I also see you have 2300 posts so you know what your talking about. any insight onto redoing the flexplate on the ford excursion? any insight will be a huge help.
