It should be ok, just dont get it going to fast. On the down hill, the car being pulled needs to brake first.
I never new that i could add tags....
I think i know who added " fordnfishiniscool " lol.
I will try to get pics and exhaust noise of my truck tomorrow.
I am going to enter both my trucks in the truck of the month too.
I managed to figure out a way to unlatch my seat from the upright position despite the fact that the latch mechanism (or the connecting rod part of it, rather) is broken. I unzipped a small zipper on the bottom of the seat back, reached up in there and manually moved the latch plate, unlatching the seat and allowing me to move it forward to access the space behind the seat. I've gotta manually move it again in order to relatch the seat back.
And it's a split-back bench seat out of an '84 SuperCab btw.
i was lazy, and instead of burning gas on towing, and possibly screwing up my tranny even more than it already is, i went to autozone, replaced the battery (stupid duralast) for free!!!
and had a friend drive it home for my sis.
and what do you know...
the battery died, again, when we got it to my driveway haha
alternator is shot on that thing.
i guess GM is going to be getting more attention from me this week than Ford is and has
We had some major alternator problems on an '85 Cadillac Couple De Ville years ago. Seemed like it always had charging system issues even though there was nothing really wrong with anything that I know of. Well, at least as far as the charging system. There were some major issues with that car, lol. It was immaculate inside and out, but it was one of the most (if not -the- most) unreliable car we've ever owned.
BTW reading about advanced subjects on Wikipedia is fun....

Something's gotta be wrong somewhere for it to keep killing alternators....are you buying the same brand of alternator every time, or are you getting different brands?
I've been through two alternators on my truck, and two or three voltage regulators. Haven't blown but maybe two fuses the entire time I've owned the truck though.
I would like to totally rewire my truck someday, but I've been warned that it's a heaping pain in the rear to do. Oh well. lol
No idea. Service manual only said it had been replaced but now the brands. Currently there is an ac delco. Brand new, less than 3 years at least. Everything else in the car checks out, the alternators just never last for some
