haha, it's gone now. but someone created an account which mocked a member, and then proceeded to create a post to make that same member look like a complete moron.

a few complaints were filed, and then it was pulled

Has anyone ever thought about how silly internet-based fights are?

You sit at your computer typing up insults...it's not like you're actually taking a swing at 'em or anything...you're just pushing keys...lol

I accomplished yet another nice little electrical convenience today....I extended the wire from the interior cab light on my truck, and put it on the toggle switch my Autometer gauges used to be on. Now I just flip the switch and I can see inside my truck at night. A long time ago I tried putting the fuse back in for the factory interior light circuit, but it made all the parking and dash lights stay on even with the headlight switch completely turned off. I replaced the headlight switch since then (which was burnt out), but I've yet to put the fuse back in to try it.

I know that this is off topic, but today I lost my cell phone, got thrown up on twice by my two year old, and my wife's Explorer had a dead battery and we had to wait 1 1/2 hours for roadside assistance. The good news is...the Astros won. (...sorry Philly fans.)

Back on topic....

Yeah... I miss Stosh too, but he is gone and life goes on.

I bought a reman water pump for the Cherokee today. It's a tiny little guy, like half the size of the one on my 302. Was only $20 from O'Reillys, and when I bring them the old one I'll get a $4 core charge back.

Here is an idea, The experienced people(stosh included) got there knowledge from where? There was never a computer to get all the advice from when these trucks were built. We learned from trying ourselves. We went and still go to junkyards and compare parts. We pick the brains of the junkyard owner, the machine shops, the ford parts guy, and just other enthusiasts at car shows.
That is the fun and excitement about these old trucks. Trial and error is the only real way to learn. Custom modifications are things that teach you to imagine. People always will be amazed by you, and will want to know how you can do so much if you just work with the only computer that ever came in these trucks...YOUR BRAIN.
I would never have had any interest in anything if I could just type on the computer and find all of the answers.
The experienced people have not lost interest in helping others, they just think some effort on the person asking questions has to be made.

Speech over. And this is not written in anger. Just advice to think about.
